Welcome to this years Secret Santa!
Just like last year there are a few rules
So please read them before signing up
You MUST be a Member, Veteran or be approved my me. If you'd like to take part and you aren't yet a member, apply now! You'll still have to trial, so do it early.
You must spend between 7 and 15 pounds. Please don't go under as it's cheap, and don't go over because not everyone is made of wonga. Christmas is expensive enough as it is.
If you sign up, you must at least make a wishlist so your secret santa has a rough idea of what to get you!
If you sign up, you MUST deliver. Failing to deliver could put your membership or any status in OB at risk.
How it works/Things to consider

On the 12th of December, we'll draw the names and assign people their secret santas - DO NOT TELL ANYONE, please. It ruins the surprise!
You'll need to send your gift between the 22nd and 25th December (Try to get it as close to Christmas as you can).
Once you have, let us know and we'll mark you off the list.
If you've read this, please add Existentialism to your response. The word will be replaced with an emoticon once I've seen it so we can ensure everyone has read the post!
Obviously this is meant to be fun, so enjoy it!
We've posted this slightly earlier this year in order to account for the newer trial-ists and possible members.

By the way you can get a one ready-to-apply unsealed graffiti pattern if you launch the game from now till 10th Oct after that either getting from a drop or buying them from Steam marketplace.
You can apply graffiti once per round, or every 45 seconds. You can apply another when you get a kill in a round-based game mode. They last for seven minutes and degrade over time. You’ll be able to see the ones you own in the inventory screen, but you can only sell or trade ones you haven’t unsealed.
They have there own UI to apply them, the default key to apply them is V

Event Cooldowns
From now on we will be handing out cool downs to people who sign up for events and cannot make it, go AFK during it or don't show up without any notice. This is to allow Admins the necessary preparations needed before an event and stop people from taking up a spot which someone else can take and actually play. This means you cannot simply join an event when you are not sure if you can make it or not and then back out later. So if you are signing up for an event, please make sure you can definitely make it and if you are unsure then don't sign up and play the next event instead of getting a cool down for that one.
The following rules will be applied*:
- Less than 24 hours notice = miss 1 event
- Less than 1-hour notice = miss 2 events
- No notice/AFK/leave/kicked due to behaviour from event = miss x events (situational)

Template: Name - no. of events (date handed out) - tallies
x - Still to be served ✓ - Served
**It will, however, depend on the situation and in the end is up to the Event Hosts/Admins discretion. For Example, Large Scale Tournaments will have more severe punishments due to the amount of time and effort that hosts have to put in to organise it.

Hey all
For a while now we have been overhauling and working on various aspects of the community to expand, improve and create a better environment for Outbreak. Over the next few weeks we plan to release several updates informing you about the upcoming plans that we are hoping to put in place in the near future.
- Donation System Changes
As you will have noticed we have added a new VIP rank and in the post that was made to explain that we briefly mentioned about changes being made to the donation system. We have been reworking the donation system and will be adding a variety of packages which contain new features. The packages we have in mind include:
● Reserved Slots: A feature we previously had that a lot of you were fond of to make sure you could join our servers.
● Monthly Package: Will unlock almost everything on the server you choose for a month and put you into the donator group for a month's time.
● Global Monthly Package: Will cost fractionally more than the Monthly Package but will unlock the features on all of our servers for a month's time.
● Permanent VIP Package: Will unlock everything available forever and add you to the permanent VIP group. Will also include some bonus features that the other packages do not unlock and will gain you early access when we are testing out new features.These packages will contain many new perks that we are currently testing out as well as containing many of the features that were previously available as well. This does mean though that individuals will no longer be able to purchase credits, however credits will not be removed from the JB server. All store items you currently own will be refunded as credits and, once we've restricted the store in accordance to our new packages, there will still some items that will be purchasable by using credits. This will also mean that earning credits through server play time will be added to the server again. Due to the stores on each of our servers being different due to the varying packages, items or credits owned will not cross over.
Many of you will be pleased to hear that, among the many other things we intend to add, custom player skins will be part of our store once again! We also have a set of JB guard and prisoner models that will be put into place over time, which can be seen here:
- Jailbreak Overhaul
Along with the donation system changes, we have been working on a massive overhaul for the Jailbreak in the hope of revamping and improving the server massively. This will involve trying out an assortment of new plugins, configs and other features over an extended period of time to see what works for our server and actually improves it for the better. Obviously the new store will be a massive part of this but we have many other changes in line which we hope will create a more enjoyable OB Jailbreak!
- Rule Updates
The previous news and update post was a tad less upbeat and the changes in rules has been made known in other posts so we will keep this brief. To be clear on the changes on our stance to:
2 ♦ No cheating/scripting or bug abuse of any kind, such as getting to places the mapmaker didn't intend you to get to.
Scripting, in particular bhop scripting, will now be dealt with with the same severity as we would deal with any other form of cheats. I should hope the amount of times this has been repeated over the forums should make this change crystal clear.
- New Logo
After a long time waiting for something magical to pop up for a new logo, we decided to just take a leap and get one. After various design suggestions and tweaks we got an end result that we were happy with. Although it might take some getting used to at first, we feel it brings a more professional and upbeat vibe to the Outbreak name than what previous logos have given off. We hope to start using it on our platforms very soon!
To summarise, we are putting in a lot of behind the scenes work, slaving away to bring about a new look for OB and to constantly improve our community. We would like to thank everyone who has been putting in the time to help us progress and we are sure we can count on your support as we continue to improve our community. As we advance our community and hope to better it, who knows what we will pop up.
