    Hey Tammahshay,

    The "Evidence" you've posted is well... pretty silly, you've posted his profile picture as Evidence. I'm really not sure if your just confused about how your are meant to fill a ban request out but the evidence area it should have evidence that supports your claims that @R1sk is "Cyber bullying" you.

    Anyway without any proper evidence e.g. recordings or screenshots showing your claims we can't really do anything.

    Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

    I am proud to announce the official Grand opening of our latest CSGO Server.....

    I've been working on this server for quite a while now and though there were a few delays, it's
    now finally at a stage where I want to get the opinions from the Community,
    improve everything else through Community play-testing and get feedback.
    This also let's all you lovely guys and gals provide any suggestions you have.

    Its all about MG:

    • The server, at least at the start, is primarily going to be full of Multigames Maps
      (My idea is to add single game mode maps later with a lower map time so it does not bore people)  
    • At the start I'll be avoiding course maps as from OB's past experience it didn't go too well with our Community
      (Though open to changes later on down the line)

     

    • Store will have some additional items for players and donators alike
      (I'd like to add more models however we currently don't have anyone that can do them)
    • Credits Re-work - Minigames will be the trialled with some changes to the credits system. There are going to be two separate changes which I hope makes it a more enjoyable system.
    1. The amount of credits you earn is increasing to 20 credits for every 4 minutes
      (Which works out to be  a x5 increase per minute)
    2. Price of most items will be increased by roughly double

     

    • Auto Bhop will be enabled, I've had some play testing with some of the admin team so we'll see how it plays out. 
    • A Statistics System much like surf (RIP surf) and I'm currently looking at getting a Web Interface for it.

     

    I'll be doing a Grand Opening event on Friday 12th of May where players can show who is the true MG Masters. Sign up here if you want to get involved in the opening event.

    Also Congratulations to those who have understood some of my MG Music hints and
     the pixelated MG Map images.

     After the opening event which should start at 6pm and last till around 7:30-8pm,
    the server will go down for about 5-10 minutes to record Stats for the event,
    after which the Server will then be open to everyone!

    Planned Server Maintenance 

    Tomorrow 31/03/17, I'll be performing some server maintenance. All of our servers will be offline for a few hours and will gradually come back online. All of our servers should be fully online by the evening however I'm going to try to get it done quite quickly. I'm going to get Teamspeak up first so you can at least chat to each other and then gradually bring the rest online. When the servers are back up you probably won't notice much difference but I'm aiming to fix quite a few back-end issues.

    • Outbreak League of Legends Championship 2016 Winner - user won the 2016 LoL tournament
    • Hearthstone Tournament 2017 Winner - user won the 2017 Hearthstone tournament
    • Member - user has become a member (award kept when membership lost, unless lost due to behaviour/rule break)

    • There is also a few more that I cant remember

    Ideally I originally wanted a few opinionated awards like member of the month etc but not sure if people would vote seriously if we do by community vote and if we did by me and unseen /admin team can already see many people disagreeing with us as alot of people only think from there point of view...

    With the introduction thread and first reputations one it would be put into a newbie(think steam badge for community award?)

    Overall some of these are good, the biggest promble with these awards ATM is that I want them at a high quality which takes time to do each badge so if anyone wants to try and help out message me :ok:

    I accidentally forgot to close CheatEngine which I used for borderlands to get money, before going on c:ss, it must've picked up that it was open and Boom, vacbanned, I've tried talking to steam support about it but haven't got any luck

    Trust me I'm more than pissed that my 7+ year account got banned for a mistake, i've had a lot of shit and banter from it trust me

    Oh well accidents happen, there isn't any use complaining about it, I have a separate account for css now :n::feelsbadman:

    Also cheat engine won't ban you for leaving a table open for another game unless you tried to use it on cs but oh well guess "accidents" can happen I'm sure :spooky:

    Thought Mintlou was being sarcastic to be honest, guess that just me??  If you want to view the current staff team theirs an easier way...

    But to your question "Why is this a thing?" its part of the Search flood control as searching can use a lot of server resources so there is a timed limit (Depending on what rank you are) @Veng3nce

    If we do anything I'd say do it after exams as the last meetup was also in a period where people in Uni/College etc.. couldn't be involved and I know I said that the next one I was involved in I'd aim to give them more of a chance.

    Personally for the next meetup, I'd love to do it for longer weekend always seems so short and love go to another European country though it's hard enough to get people to organise anything. If we ever did anything outside of the UK I'd imagine it as the OB inbetweeners movie :spooky:

    Season Greetings!

    As Christmas fast approaches I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas or just a good time during the holiday season for those who don't celebrate it :santa: 


    ❅ Payment Changes & Server Costs
    I recently received an email from our host stating that their prices will be increasing by 20% as of 15th of January 2017 due to "economic changes following the Brexit" :spooky:

    Following on from that, a few have suggested we just change host however I'm personally not inclined to do this. We've been with our current host for the past year on a dedicated game server and throughout the entire time the server has never really had any issues (from them at least) :devil: Also our host has migrated over 40 attacks over the past year and that's just a great feeling to know we don't have to change house every 3 months. So the host may be expensive but they are a quality host. That expense isn't the best of news though after our donation system was down for a considerable amount of time and has only recently come back in the past couple of months.

    All the same, onto some better news! Instead of increasing our prices to help ease our burdens, we will be doing the opposite of our host and putting our VIP donation package on a 20% discount until the beginning of January. This is to encourage as many donations you lovely folk can offer! Hopefully this will allow us to top up our server rental time before they increase the prices and give us more time to look for alternative hosting providers should we need to change.

     

    ❅ Donation System: I like to repeat Unseen (sometimes he actually has good stuff to say)
    As mentioned in the last couple News & Updates, there have been significant changes to the way the donation system works and the various perks available. There has also been an ongoing advent during the Christmas month which you can sign up for each day by logging into the page and clicking on the advent day. We also have a raffle going on for the chance to win the 3 month package costing £1 per entry (package usually costs £15.99). For more information on the store see the post here.


    ❅ A Goodbye  
    Dipping into a negative, some of you will have noticed that a member of staff has recently been removed from his position. We wanted to take a moment to explain the reasons behind his demotion and consequential punishment. On multiple occasions the individual was warned for abusing his powers. We are relatively trusting in our staff and we prefer to be relaxed when they use powers with fun in mind, however we still expect them to take it on as a responsibility and to be considerate of others when using said powers. The number of complaints we received due to the individual abusing to the point where he was ruining the game mode for others was beyond anything even remotely appropriate. Although we appreciate the effort he did put into this community, it's a shame that it will be overshadowed by the behaviour that has resulted in his demotion and month ban from the community.
     

    ❅ Staff Recruitment Continues & Community Efforts To Improve OB
    Back to a more uplifting note, Moderator apps are still open and they are going to be staying that way for the time being so I suggest all members, both new and old, try playing the server. Whether that be to show us what great potential mods you could make or just to improve the quality of our server atmosphere and give back to the community that we have all spent countless hours in. It's a family time of year and we want you to spend time with your kin and co, but in a way Outbreak is also a (very disjointed :spooky:) family and it needs all the support that the community can bring at this time.

     

    That ends this mini follow up update. Thank you all for the effort you put into this community, regardless of your role we appreciate anyone who tries to positively improve this community of friends we have. I hope you all have a great time over the holiday season, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :santa:
