Also note that although I came up with this idea, and seem to be leading it - all of these are my own views, and some of you will disagree with certain points. If you really feel something is wrong or should be changed, put it in the poll thread and we can all discuss it to arrive at a conclusion. This thread is fairly unorthodox in comparison to a normal sign up thread, as it contains a lot of explanations behind things, information n shit.
 
Important Information
Rank Restriction: Although I was unsure about this, many have expressed a desire for it. I've read everything put forward, and also thought about it a bit. Decided to put a rank restriction of GOLD NOVA 3 on this event. For those of you saying that's too low - Storm was a nova 3 in the ESL summer event, and had multiple 20 bomb games vs  supreme+ teams.  I also thought, this is Christmas time, a bit harsh to just exclude people from what could be a really fun few days where everyone is occupied. For those of you saying it's too high - still apply. I will consider your application if you're nova 2 or below, possibly with other people who know you well. Because personally, I would rather have a nova 1 on my team who is committed, friendly, competitive, communicative etc, than a DMG who's just going to run around pugging, it ruins the competitive and fun nature. Looking back I would have chose Conor on my team over some of the other higher rankers in this community, because he had a desire to win, cared about the team, held his positions as I told him to etc. Everyone will play the same amount of games, and surely you want them to be as chill/fun as possible! Either work on getting to nova 3 over the next month or so, or still apply if you think you have a shot because of consideration. Commitment: This is probably the most important thing. PLEASE PLEASE only sign up to this event if you know you're gonna be able to make these games. To put the math in perspective for you: 3 days of games, possibly 35 people, that's 7 teams, so you play 6 games (everybody once in a round robin formula) That's TWO gathers per night for 3 days straight - which will be dated in advance for you. - Hardly difficult to commit to. Reserves: That brings in the idea of reserves, please sign up if you don't think you can commit to it all, but would gladly step in if available. More reserves the better! Also moaning about a reserve being lower or higher rank may just have to be a thing. It's a very short event in comparison to ESL, and will be at a moments notice, we can't go searching for reserves 48 hours in advance to find the most ideal replacement. Maps: Cache, Cobblestone, Mirage, Overpass, Nuke, Train, Dust2, Inferno. 8 maps. Captain one will remove 4 maps, captain two will remove 3 maps and pick the side. Played via: Popflash How will tourney work: Sort of said this all above. But let's say we have 35 sign ups (around the amount who said they would in the poll) - we put them into 7 teams of 5. It's a big group of 7 teams, everyone plays each other once for 6 matches, then at the end we'll hopefully have teams ranked 1-7th. Matches will go on at the same time, otherwise it'll take FOREVER. Twitch-stream: Probably be too hard to do this, due to how many games will be going on at once. But if you're not playing and wanna stream a game for others who aren't playing or viewing, go for it. Prizes: I'm a poor student, so nothing right now. Although it's not outbreak endorsed hopefully we can persuade the council chambers to throw in some kind of credit prize for the top 3 teams. General person restriction: Nothing on this at the moment, but ideally gotta be a known face. If you have an event ban I'm pretty sure you can play this, as, again, it isn't officially endorsed. Stats: Very easy to record stats through popflash. I'll do this and release them very promptly. Recognition for all forms of stats - flashbang assists, F.E.D, K.D, Headshot %, clutch kills etc. Sign up close date and beyond: I'm going to close this thread (or get a mod to xD) around the 16h of December, giving everyone like 3 weeks to sign up. After that I'll meet with a few people who have expressed interest in helping, and from then until the tournament starts we'll work on creating teams and a schedule - no idea yet on when you'll know your teams, ideally before Christmas so you can bond and practice. RACHEL WILL BE MODERATING. 
Make sure you have a webcam/phone and use TinyChat! Once the Moderator has poked roles the game starts with a night phase:
Mafia: There are 2 Mafia's, at night they choose someone to kill.
Detective: The Detective can choose a person to detect at night, they will be poked that person's role.
Medic: The Medic chooses a person to heal at night.
E.g: So if a Mafia wants to kill Blyss for instance and the Medic chooses Blyss to save, then he won't die.
Vigilante: The Vigilante has 1 bullet to kill someone throughout the whole game. This requires a lot of thinking, as you must use your bullet wisely.
If you kill a town, the Vigilante also dies. If you kill a Mafia successfully, the Vigilante won't die.
Traitor: The Traitor has 1 guess, if he doesn't guess a mafia role, he dies.
If he guesses who the mafia is he becomes one of them.
However the traitor can choose to be a normal townie by not using their guess at all!
Town: If you do not get poked at all you are a town member. You have no abilities but it would the game would be more interesting if YOU TALK.
Other roles for 13+ people
Bodyguard: Protect one person from death at night throughout the whole game.
.If your target is attacked both you and your attacker will die instead.
(Whoever pokes the mod their targets will die)
.If you successfully protect someone you can still be healed and the Mafia die.
.You can't heal the bodyguard if he doesn't target anyone.
.No self-protect.
Overall the Whole town is trying to kill the Mafia.
Notes: Recently we've added that each mafia alive has 1 kill each. The Moderator will tell you if there's 2 kills or not.
You can lie about your role, however it is very risky!
If you have a town role YOU DECIDE if you want to tell what your role is and share information.
By doing this you are risking your life, which is why you must discuss and think well.
AKA NO STUPID PLAYS
During the Night phases DON'T TALK, if you do you're most likely to be given warnings and could be banned.
The starting night phase is to check that everyone has the right roles, once this is done it is the day phase where you discuss who to "lynch" on your suspicions.
Day Phases are 10 Minutes MAX.

If you want to accuse someone put your hand up, if 2 people accuse one person they must do a defence. After their defence, the people who accused can decide to retract or not.
If not, it goes to the voting process. People MUST put there head down and put their thumbs up, if they want the person to die or thumbs down if they don't.
The reason why you put your head down is so that you don't change your votes because of other people's decision!
If the person is voted off it is NIGHT
If the person isn't then one more accusation can be brought up, then it is night.
So like I said earlier when it is Night DON'T TALK!
The Moderator will go in role order and use their abilities and decide what they want to do.
At day you will find out what happens!
This cycle will then continue until someone wins!
Mafia wins if they are with the same amount of townies. (1:1 | 2:2)
Town wins if they eliminate all Mafia.

Take those graphs away from this section. That is so pedantic it hurts.  James has an active presence on Teamspeak and has 160+ posts on the forums. How can you even talk about him not being integrated enough? How much more does he have to do to satisfy some people - The same some people who got member with WAY less activity. 
Stop this double-trialing, it's stupid and doesn't give people a fair shout anymore. Stop grilling him before he is given a proper trial. Compare him to some of the members, how can you reject giving him a chance? The fact you are thinking of saying no before the first hurdle is just text-book inconsistent.
I've talked about this before and many people agreed, it seems they've all forgotten now.
Yes he can be annoying, and yes he's done stuff that cost him his membership, but to expect him to be some golden boy just to get a trial is ridiculous. What's the point?

Yes I was incredibly lucky to pull the 4-7 from the counterspell.
I thought I counted lethal at the 1 minute mark so the arcane missiles were just a "fuck it im dead" play, then when he didn't kill me I realized I had miscounted by 1, then ironically the 1 damage he took from my arcane missiles  made up for exact lethal with that killer top deck. "Amazing."
Also, woulda liked to get the few turns before this for more context but my shadow play is set to 2 minutes :/
