Hobbsyy reacted to Lewis in Admin Complaint: Lewis - Non Censored cut
I'll add a serious note, no idea if spongebob memes are also grounds for an admin complaint with this specimen.
@Biggles - 'So many people' - It's literally 3 of the same oldies - You, Venga and Gaffer. As far as I'm aware, nobody else has me muted or blocked in this community. You muted me 3 years ago for wind tunnelling, and I guess trolling. I'm a much different person now, I still have my jokes, but it's not the same as before. This isn't an ask for you to un-mute me, just asking you not to assume what I'm like 3-4 years after you last spoke to me! I trust you can move on with things better in life than this.
@Mintlou - You seem to be a bit lost, let me clear up this situation as best as I can - also for any other people a bit in the dark about all of this. Conor refused to approve your post, because it added nothing further to the discussion and frankly was riddled with lies; why are you now posting it in the general chat? I know you wrote the thing, but let me just point out - your post ends with 'your call'. Yes, it is Conor's call, you're right. He made the call not to approve your post and resolved the complaint - stating that if you HAD to take it further for whatever reason, contact him on teamspeak. Going against his decision proves either:
    1) You're not satisfied until some sort of action is taken against me
    2) You have a hard time accepting things that don't go your way
The latter wouldn't surprise me with what I know of you. For this reason, I'm exerting some independent authority to give you a forum warning.
Members of the admin team and the forum guidelines themselves have laid out for you that these sort of complaints are meaningless without evidence. It doesn't even matter though, I'm a man - and I admitted to the entire team exactly what I did, as Conor told you in his post - I haven't tried to say that I did nothing 'wrong'. So no, if that's what you're thinking, I didn't downplay the situation, my story fits perfectly with what others who were present in the channel said happened. I've also taken the liberty of chatting with your potential 'testifiers' myself.

Frostie: Did not hear anything anything
Fluxy: Heard everything. He knows full well that some were by mistake, as all of my fellow mixers do. But also knows, as I stated, that some were on purpose - maximum 3-4 seconds, only 1-2 were bad. Hardly comparable to the amount of music soundboards you spam, is it?* The crux of it as he said - nothing remotely ban worthy, scraping warning worthy.
Quinn: Did not even hear anything - said the whole thing was ridiculous.
Gaffer: Has me muted, so not applicable
Venga: Has me muted, so not applicable
Weezy: From what I've heard from Fluxy, they have very similar opinions on what they heard, what's happened, and how you've decided to go about this.
Mitch: The one person I'm not sure about, will have a chat to him when I next see him. Although as he didn't say anything at all at the time, I can't think his views would be that far from Hugo+Weez.

So if that's all the 'evidence' you're bringing to this table, then I VERY strongly suggest you cease posting now. This complaint is about me, and I'm one of the one's in this team who's taking your actions here, and over the past few months leniently.
    * I found your comment so funny too. 'Bringing up people's past mistakes'. You speak like it's something you did in 2016. You LITERALLY used soundboards AFTER making a complaint about me for using mine, every single day I'm in the OG channel you use them - sometimes for up to minutes at a time. Whatever you're smoking young man, I'll have some of that after finishing this post please.
I mentioned lies too - 'I also told him to stop, and told him if he didn't, an admin complaint would be made'. The first bit is correct, you did tell me to stop. Second bit, nope. You did not say that at all. After I'd stopped, you said - 'right, I'm going to make an admin complaint'. I could fill a restaurant with the amount of people who have asked you to stop using soundboards and you've continued. It isn't really about comparisons though, it's just why every single person I've spoke to about this thinks it's ridiculous and won't take you seriously, because it's riddled with hypocrisy. I thought you were joking about an admin complaint, but no... about 10,000 words later between the 3 of us, here we are... over maximum 15 seconds combined of pirates of the Caribbean doing ya mom sounds. How fun.
Anyway, an update: I've managed to fix my microphone - people can no longer hear themselves through it; i'm just a bit quieter. This certainly won't happen again with how sensitive you've been to it. As myself and others agree, there isn't really anything wrong with soundboards, Jamie's are some of the best. But since you have SUCH a problem with it, lets make a deal together. If I use any from now on, I'll get demoted/banned or whatever - and if you use any, you'll get banned! Seems fair with how you morally stand on it right?
I've had my warning from the high council - and that's it. It was resolved 3+ posts ago. Nothing more is going to happen. As I said in my last big post on this forum, maybe it's time you found somewhere else?

Might I add, you actually blamed the effort Conor has put into this community for the reason that you and a few other ostracised OGs are moaners? Jesus, you've lost it.

Hobbsyy reacted to Skeff in CSGO Server Survey
    Survey End
It's been almost a week since I put this survey up and the number of responses have slowed down. Thank you to everyone that has submitted a response and are interested in a CSGO server. I shall be closing the survey at the end of the week so if anyone has yet to respond to this please make sure you respond to the CSGO server survey.

    CSGO Server
There has been a brilliant repsonse to this survey. 20/22 (90%) of the responses are interested in a CSGO server. This has the potential to be a great starting player base and I am hopeful everyone has old OB friends they can invite to increase this base player population.

    CSGO Events
Out of the players interested in a CSGO server 17 (85%) are interested in CSGO events. Since events don't have to maintain a population I am hopeful that events could gain popularity such as the old 20 player events we used to host. This should help boost the population on the server, especially if there is a reward system for playing the events.
I asked how often these players would like to see events. 30% want the old fortnightly schedule back, 40% want monthly events and 20% want them to be less frequent. Whilst I would personally enjoy fortnightly events to be back it would seem monthly CSGO events would be preferable in the community. Some players may want these to be more frequent but I think official events for other games could fill in the void left by CSGO events.

    Server Gamemodes
I asked each player to rate their interest in each of the following gamemodes. These are how I expect the gamemodes to fair if used on a server.
    Gamemodes that won't survive
Arms race, Battle royale, Deathmatch, Demolition, Hostage
Gamemodes that would struggle to survive
Aim, Capture the flag, Control points, King of the hill, Zombie escape
    Gamemodes that could survive
    Bunny hop, Retake, Surf (Combat)
    Gamemodes that could thrive
    Climb, Jailbreak, Minigames, Surf (Skill)

    Event Gamemodes
I also asked each player to rate their interest in each of the following gamemodes when used for an event. These is how popular I expect an event with the gamemode to be.
Gamemodes that won't attract (m)any players
    Deathmatch, Demolition, Hostage, Retake
Gamemodes that may attact a small group of players
Arms Race, King of the hill, Surf (Combat)
Gamemodes that may attract a medium group of players
Battle royale, Bunny hop, Capture the flag, Control points, Climb, Jailbreak, Surf (Skill)
Gamemodes that may attract a large group of players
    Aim, Minigames, Zombie Escape

    What next?
I think this survey shows there is support for a CSGO server in the community. There is a good selection of game modes which could work out well for the server however each has it's own issues. A gamemode rotation or multigames plugin could solve these however these solutions also come with their own issues that will need to be addressed for the server to have a long lifespan.
This survey also shows there is support for CSGO events. There is a much greater selection of gamemodes that may bring together groups of the community but there won't be as many players are we have had in the past. Additionally there has been discussion about official events in other games which could also prove to work out well but unless someone takes a survey or tries to host one we don't know how popular it will be. I am hopeful that we can host successful events and make the community excited for them once again.
At the start of next week I will open a discussion for the specific details for the game server and it's gamemodes. There may be a survey to gather data and an open forum thread for players to post their suggestions. After a week or two, if the issues have been addressed and there is sufficient interest in the server I will open it. Once open the server will start with a basic gamemode. Over the first month I will test multiple gamemodes to see how each one works. After this the server will focus on what is the most popular. If the server is doing well then I will expand the servers gamemodes, plugins, maps and introduce events.

Coming Friday the 5th of October, Outbreak will be opening a new Minigames server. If you want to get involved in the opening, sign up below. The Sign up list is to reserve your place should the server end up being full.

The server grand opening should start at 6:30pm and once everyone that has reserved their place has got in the server it'll then be opened to everyone on the next map change.
The current setup for Minigames is going to be more focus towards maps rather than plugins and will evolve over time with player suggestions.

Here is a link to our current Steam Workshop Map Collection.
If you'd like to suggest any maps or other suggestion post in the below thread.
If you have any other ideas or suggestions for things you'd like to see Outbreak do, such as other servers, games, events etc...
Either message admin+ via the forums, or create a post under the S&Q Forum Section.
Hope to see you all in our new server soon.

if you want to maintain a Jailbreak server then I hate to say you're going to have to be more like CLWO. Although I strongly disagree with some of the rules they have in place and they have been for a very long time a heavily populated server, they have so many plugins that make the game enjoyable. When OB had a JB server it was more on the friendly side of things, speaking to new players, introducing them to the server to play more often. CLWO just use plugins to make the game fun for those with and without a mic, those who don't know anyone on the server, those who don't really know the rules. There are so many more plugins that OB could use to keep people playing the server rather than keeping the same consistent players. Maybe that's what the admins want, at this point I have no idea.
    A few ideas:
Offer in-game bonuses for using the OB tag to help promote the server (most just don't change their tag when playing on other servers) Last request more often? maybe once/twice a map with more rounds per map a sort of in game currency that players can use to use to buy things that aren't just player and grenade skins; free rounds, low gravity for a round, double health etc maybe more benefits for members would encourage players to play on the servers more this is just an idea so not going to throw hundreds of points in, but if JB became a thing I'm sure we could come up with other ways to make it better than before.

Half inclined to agree with this. However, I want to add that there is no guarantee that a jail break would bring more people in, as custom game modes are not what they used to be. Add to the mix that our most 'interesting characters' are not gonna be arsed about playing JB, and JB begins to look like a fruitless endeavour also.

I haven't got any bright ideas, so I don't wanna be the guy who pisses on ideas without contributing, but here we are. I do think an MC server is a good idea tho

I think that it would help having some of the older members running the place in high positions. It would bridge the gap between "OG" and everyone else.
Personally, the reason I will not be applying for mod again is because of fears of what happened last time I wanted there to be some big changes. It doesn't happen, and even in the mod section, it gets ignored for a long time. And also the fact that Frostie had a rod up his arse the moment he got senior mod to the point where he treated everyone like we were less than him.
Again, personally I will work with people and not below them - that doesn't mean being owner, it means being respected enough to work. It might even require a new role. Something like "Community Development Admin".

I would personally like to apologize for how long this has taken to get to everyone, I understand the frustration that has been built up around the lack of information from staff to members but I can put your hearts to rest by telling you there have been no new updates. We have had few talks about what can change to improve footfall into the community and during these talks nothing has been suggested to do so. As it stands we are a community of on going friends which create servers by popular demand, there is no dead set game that people can play without getting quickly bored of it which begs the question of why put in a few weeks time and effort into something that will last 1 week?

    During tonight's admin meeting we discussed a few topics of importance and would like to give the information directly to you;
    Teamspeak/Discord
After the vote we have concluded that the community will remain on the Teamspeak 3 server however we will still have the Discord server for a back up, with this decision being made we will be introducing a "donation cup" onto the Forums to allow us to maintain the upkeep of the server. If there is a lack of funds we will fund the remained for the month but if it is a reoccurring thing then we will have to close the Teamspeak server and move to discord. Teamspeak 5 is soon to be released and we hope to have very similar abilities as Discord has.
    Chatbox
We will be moving the Chatbox onto the front of the forums, however it will be located near the bottom of the page and will require log-in to view it. If anyone is seen breaking the Chatbox rules or just being disrespectful they will have their access removed.
    Servers
Over the past few months we have been working on a Minecraft server, constructing building and testing plug-ins. We have now decided that won't be going ahead and we will likely be creating a Vanilla server with a spawn area, the server will be wiped every month to avoid things getting stale and give new teams a chance to take the lead in warfare. This is only a idea at the moment and we are open to any other ideas you guys may have.

We will try rolling out different servers (not Minecraft) in vanilla states without over modding so they don't take too long to set up to just be put back in the toy box. If you have any games in mind then please feel free to mention it in this post or to any of us (preferably not Cheesepuff as he tends to forget).
    Donation system
We will have a widget on the front page which will show how much of our monthly goal we have achieved, the goal will be around £20 per month so we are able to keep the Teamspeak server up, if in the future we require any additional funds we will make a post to let you guys know whats happening so not to keep everything behind the scenes.

We appreciate you taking the time to read this and hope this helps you to understand where we stand.

Pale, white stick-men arguing about how many pills they pop, I'm impressed. Walking around in some Henri Lloyd polo with a ciggie holstered in your ear. Getting on the bus with your bluetooth speaker your Nan got you for Christmas blasting tunes: "You're such a fucking hoe" while drinking some sick mixed up piss you made from fruity cider and WKD decanted into a used Coca-Cola bottle, with the label ripped off.
Tension rises at the club queue with your brother's ID ready. Now's the time to pop the pill. You think no one saw you, and at this point you don't care, you raise the smiling meme bag in front of your possy and giggle without a care in the world. To anyone else on the dance floor, you aren't a catch tonight. Your primark vented-sunglasses cannot hide your habits, as eating your own gums blows your cover. Nevertheless, you jump up and down to the music until the night ends.
You somehow got home, clothes still on, phone on 3% You feel like trash, and even though you don't remember a thing, a message to the ladz certifies last night as an absolute sesh and you can't wait to do it all again, despite the fact you've just drained every penny you earned from your week at your part time job.
    Pathetic.
