    Frostie right now:

A discussion was ongoing about the future of Outbreak. You were asked a few direct questions by members in the channel at the time. "What's going on with Outbreak, what's the team and Conor up to" .... You replied "Nothing, OB is dead and Conor just doesn't care anymore".... How on this earth can that even be described as an "Out of context" comment?
You made a mistake by saying that because you didn't think it would come back to bite you in the ass. It's what you meant at the time, and a week ago you would have given the exact same answer if it were not for this thread.
I agree that his comments were motivating. But don't forget that you lot are falling right back into my predicted cycle. Give Akame all the credit you want. You guys are finished with Outbreak and you know it. I'm not discrediting his post but really the only new thing there was the pub analogy if you analyse the arguments that have been made on this thread. You'd just rather listen to him because he doesn't call you out like I have been doing for years. The poll on this thread is about having a new owner. It has a CLEAR majority for it, and the current admin team are in full denial about it.
I started a thread with a main focus of changing the leadership team because I'm fed up with the crap you keep telling us about "where the community is", and the majority of active members seem to agree with the intentions of that poll title if you look at the weight of that vote.
Unseen was one of the most highly appraised community staff members of all time, the community even tried to get him to co-owner status. He left because of Conor...
The Mintlou curse of not being taken seriously because it's Mintlou still going strong 6 years on. Please look at the argument rather than the person making it, because it seems anyone who has the same opinion as I do and doesn't reference Mintlou gets massive praise and encouragement.

Why keep this hidden then? I'm sure there are people with enough time on their hands to give a helping hand, I do agree with Mintlou's point on the complete separation between the Staff and Members, if the staff team feels obliged to ask for help, Why not? The rank of "Member" is practically rendered useless and I reckon that they should be trusted enough to give their input towards creating servers. (although I doubt I could be of any help since I have 0 knowledge of creating a FiveM server I don't doubt other members have knowledge on some sort of server creation)

Throwing the ownership of the community around isn't the solution however I think this thread raises some important issues.
    Do we need change?
Yes, the community is completely stagnant.
    Will change work?
We don't know, there are no exact plans for what this change actually is.
How can we make it work?
If you have a plan for the future of the community then I'd suggest typing it up and posting it on the forums, apply for a server warden or moderator role and then carry out your plan. Good ideas will resonate with the community and will increase community activity.
I haven't seen anyone try to take a lead on anything in a while except for the current admin team. That being said I do wish they would be more open with everyone about what their plans are and how they're going to achieve them because it would stop the community becoming alienated from the team and they would be able to get help and ideas from the community.

    nice forums doesnt work properly.

also back in the day when people were mod/admin and they didnt find motivation to do anything or having busy schedule for work etc. They lay down their role and give it to someone else who has got the time. Like i told conor i dont give a shit abouth whats happening atm cause i dont care anymore mostly. I am happy to join teamspeak and talk to the guys and play games.
Gaming also changed a lot last years. People get older, new games come out and seriously no1 in here would play jailbreak for longer than a week. But yea if you are a Owner/admin or something and there isnt anything done last 6 months maybe its time for a change? or actually show something that we know you guys are working on. These threads always come up every half a year and its always the same. yea we working on this we working on that.

Also @Frostie i really enjoy your post, i remember when you still talked shit few weeks ago abouth whats being done in outbreak. saying you dont care anymore and no1 is doing anything, yet you come here just to shit on mintlou. big ass hypocrite, saying conor funds the teamspeak so he cares. plenty times we said we want to fund aswell but you get no proper reaction back how to fund aswell.

Also big idea to have a fundraiser on the forums for the cost for the website and teamspeak? loads of other communities do this and we shared this idea months ago aswell, no proper response.
i didnt really wanna make a post like i said cause i enjoy getting on teamspeak and just speak/game with my buddies.
but we all know mintlou is not the easiest person to deal with but i agree this time this motherfucker has points and nothing is being done last 6/8 months, reviving minigames or jb for the 10th time is not worth it. we all know it dies within 2 weeks.

I wouldn't call 30 people split into 5 Groups a community tbh, everyone in OB has different interests and the one thing they had in common was the game server or events that OB used to run, with neither of those happening it's just a TS server with 30ish people on it with 5-8 of which being in the OG channel ,15 being spread in Mix Rooms with about 3 in each and around 7 people constantly in Games Rooms, these numbers never really change, people have at this point stopped trying to mix groups of people up and it's obvious why, they have no reason too, before they had servers or events which led to community integration, without those OB will remain a TS server which has no real community feel to it, the only person that I see moving between groups consistently is Quinn, however they've been in the community fuck knows how long so they comfortably know the OGs and is still the age of the other people within the community so they can relate to their humour etc, which leads to another thing of when the possibility of Discord was being discussed, that thread alone shows the divide between the community some people willing to leave if the move was going to happen and honestly I don't blame them it's like when someone said "It's like going to a pub to see your mates and saying we need more mates" we don't and hence why the community is split, no common interests between groups cause splits and the splits can be fixed with events or a server which people will enjoy longterm.

Ok so server help is needed. Why then for the last 6 months whenever any staff member is asked what is going on do they all say "I dunno, no one cares anymore. We've given up"?
This post isn't about whipping a server up quickly to shut people up, it's about the fact that there has been no sense of leadership here for quite some time. Writing an update post requires no more than 30 mins of your time, and you haven't done it.
I feel we'll slip into the same old cycle that I've mentioned will happen in the past:

Even after that thread which was two months ago and can be found here...
....Nothing from a member's point of view has actually changed. Admittedly you asked for server help and probably didn't get any responses from it, but where are the news updates and any other form of player interaction? No other staff member has tried to do anything else to make this a community.
Yes I'd like a FiveM server, but ultimately the bigger battle here is a change of the leadership team, otherwise history will keep on repeating itself.
And if you don't believe me, here's a list of threads that support my prediction, I was on the mod team during one of those threads and supported the efforts I saw in the background. As memory recalls, I ended up stepping down due to the lack of things mods were actually able to do that the time. There are threads that explain this in great detail.

As Outbreak hasn't really done anything productive in about a year, I think it's time for something different.
Many people don't really care anymore, but then I can sympathise with them as there isn't really much to care about at the moment.
So, a simple vote. Should Outbreak change the leadership team? Is it time for Sir_Conor to hand this community to someone who wants to run it?
