Event Cooldowns
From now on we will be handing out cool downs to people who sign up for events and cannot make it, go AFK during it or don't show up without any notice. This is to allow Admins the necessary preparations needed before an event and stop people from taking up a spot which someone else can take and actually play. This means you cannot simply join an event when you are not sure if you can make it or not and then back out later. So if you are signing up for an event, please make sure you can definitely make it and if you are unsure then don't sign up and play the next event instead of getting a cool down for that one.
The following rules will be applied*:
Less than 24 hours notice = miss 1 event Less than 1-hour notice = miss 2 events No notice/AFK/leave/kicked due to behaviour from event = miss x events (situational) List of people on event cooldown:
  Template: Name - no. of events (date handed out) - tallies
x - Still to be served  ✓ - Served
**It will, however, depend on the situation and in the end is up to the Event Hosts/Admins discretion. For Example, Large Scale Tournaments will have more severe punishments due to the amount of time and effort that hosts have to put in to organise it.

because you have improved alot since your last app but i also feel like you could integrate better on ts
your behaviour has improved tremendously on the servers
i feel you could be more confident on ts (although that is not my strong point either) join bigger channels etc.
maybe post a bit more on forums aswell

For me it will be a no for a couple of reasons.
1. I have seen you insulting multiple players on the server, ranging from small arguments to insulting with cancer, talking about someone's mother being a filthy whore etc. This is absolutely NOT behaviour what is expected from a member. 
2. You like it to be aids on the server. As a ct u can be very unruly, likes it to be triggerhappy and play alot of rng. Most important thing is on jb, and more important in this community is to have FUN instead of being aids. 
3. As others said above me, your activity is not the best. Your forum activity is kinda low and on teamspeak you should intergrate further with other parts of the community. 
These are for me the points you could improve on. Others have maybe a different view.

Hey all,
As always before we announce which individuals have been chosen for Moderator we want to make it clear that if you haven't been chosen then that doesn't automatically mean you aren't good enough to become a moderator. If you wish to know why you haven't been chosen then senior staff are more than willing to tell you why in person. I would also like to inform everyone that the Mod Apps will remain open for the next 2-4 weeks, as we are looking to recruit a few more mods if we feel the need to. If you have applied and would like to be considered for the next batch, please leave your application in the Mod Apps section, otherwise you can ask a smod+ to remove it for you. It will also be open to any new applicants who wish to apply.

Whilst VIP was certainly not appealing at all before, now that I can have a pink name on the forums and separate myself from the plebs who only donate £5, I will certainly have to consider it. Then, I can die happy.

Hey all
This is just a minor announcement to explain the new group that has popped up on the forum with a pink glow called VIP. Essentially, as many of you know, we're working on a new donation system and several features of it will be significantly different. These changes will be gone over at the time, but the result of some of these changes is that there are now two separate groups for current donators and permanent VIPs.
Those of you who have donated for VIP (the £50 option) in the past will have been put into this group, either as your primary or secondary group. At the moment member has taken automatic priority over VIP in what colour you have on the forum, but if you are a VIP you can ask an admin+ if you would prefer to have the pink glow.
All other active donators (active in the sense of recently present in the community) will remain in the other group until further notice. Inactive individuals (both in the donating and playing sense) have been purged from the group and the basis of how the group will work will be explained once the new system is put in place.
If you have any questions feel free to ask staff (ideally admin+ as they are the only ones who really know), but don't expect lots of expansion on the donation system until it is properly put in place.

As many of you will know, a member of our community has recently been banned due to their behaviour on another server and abusing the expectations of OB membership. This isn't the first time this has been brought up and so for us to feel the need to make another post addressing the matter is frankly appalling.
We work closely with multiple communities, including LR, EdgeClan, CLWO and various other groups. We often communicate with these other communities and, because of these relationships we have developed over time, we expect our members to represent our community when they go onto other servers. We take pride in being a community that does not go about ruining the fun of other communities and we have high expectations of our players; so to hear that yet again these communities are forced to contact us about a player who is supposed to have been a member of our community has gone onto another server and had a complete lack of respect for their staff is embarrassing.
We want to reiterate that if you are banned from another community and you are a recognised as a part of our community, you WILL be banned and your punishment will be far more severe coming from us. We have no place for individuals who think they can get away with having less respect for the rules and staff of other communities while representing Outbreak.
We shouldn't have to be repeating this topic and it is humiliating how pathetic it is. We suggest everyone takes a hard think about this as acting in such a manner is seen as a directly disrespecting our community and will not tolerated.

When I signed up I thought to myself 'another zombie event? Seems like it's probably going to be something different this time'. The trailer (which wasn't really a trailer) was made to hype this up somewhat. However, this event was simply sub-par. 
 
It seems like you went for the story based approach, some events do this and others do not. So for one, I would of expected to see a bit more emphasis on building the event around the story. This did not happen. The first map, the cts were defending some pointless room til the death, for what reason exactly? This did not add up at all. There was no versatility in the defence of this room either, just a vent where you NEEDED to sit otherwise you would get anally raped from both sides. Nothing more needs to be said about the first round, it was really stale and quite frankly a disappointment. Second map was a bit better, but not by much. It wasn't that much different to the first map, just instead of defending a room (which I might add, had a bit more versatility due to props but not by much) you had to leg it to the exit. Meh. When the event finished, the story ended with 'yay we are cured woohoo'. ?????
 
This is the first event where I have heard more than one person say publicly over ingame comms: 'this event is shit'. Yeah, it's rude and unnecessary but it's honestly the first time I have heard it being said. I really hate to admit this I really do, but it's the first event in a while where after like 2 rounds I wanted to alt tab and browse reddit/youtube/twitch until it was our go.
 
It's impossible to offer improvements for this event because it's difficult to see where you intended to go with it in the first place, but the next event(s) need to have more thought put into it. Put yourself in the shoes of the people playing the event. Regardless i'll offer what I can:
Zombie skins. Even setting the atmosphere would make us feel a little bit immersed. You'll be surprised on how much this shit matters to some people.
The hosts. If you're going to write up a story, please make sure you have someone who can actually write one well. 'woohoo we found da cure wot ov it xD' is a classic example of this.
Don't add stuff half way through. The speed, some rules etc. BE VERY CLEAR IF YOU ARE GOING TO ADD STUFF.
 
To the hosts: I don't mean to sound rude or overly-critical in this post, but this needed to be addressed. We as a community really appreciate mods/admins putting work into running these events, I know how much of a pain it is trust me. But this needed more thought, end of.
To the people sugar coating: If you didn't enjoy the event, make it known. Sugar coating and saying it was fun won't help anyone improve for next time.

After playing the last few events, aside from the prop event, I have noticed a trend - they seem to be getting stale and everything seems rather rushed. It's getting to the point that I look at a sign-up thread and think to myself 'meh, do i?' Let's take the last event 'hold the fort' for example.
Firstly I will link you my response: 
Hold the Fort was quite obviously, a rushed event just to fill up that 2 week timeslot we have. It was dull. This, in my opinion, is due to events being hosted every 2 weeks. More thought, preparation and creativeness needs to go into hosting these.
With a 1 month timeslot, the moderators will have more time to get their shit sorted, have better prizes and make things overall less stressful. Not only this, but it will make events a lot more exciting and hyped up. It sucks when you look at an event and think to yourself 'another one'?
I won't go on to write an essay but it's something to think about.
 

Not gonna sugar coat it, wasn't really a great event. Really stale idea (which would've been fine if you guys had put a special spin on it) but it disappointed.
