Betting streams artificially inflated CS popularity on Twitch, I really don't think these sound updates have anything to do with it. 
Not really sure why you keep posting this picture tbh, surely if you are going to use it as your central ''CS is dying lol'' argument you should post a recent one. 
Another problem I have with you using Twitch as some sort of bench mark for a games popularity is how irrelevant it is, RuneScape is way higher than it should be for its playerbase for example, FIFA 17 has a fucking massive playerbase but its only 20k on release? Some games are more fun to watch than they are to play.

What the fuck does this even mean, anything I ever posted in the chat box I would never have put on the forum anyway. 
All that content (Whether you think is trash or not) adds to inactivity to the forum, not activity. 
Is this seriously the reasoning behind the decision to remove the chatbox... 
 
And what if I want to interact with the community while at work or out of the house? I think it is actually disgraceful that instead of coming in here and actually putting up some valid points you post shit like this, mods should be better than that. 

The forums general activity increases with a popular features, bringing people to the website and maybe finding a thread they find interesting. If someone comes to read or participate in the chat box they are more inclined to view/post in threads now that they have been brought to the website. 
Of course you don't see the big point, you hardly ever participated in the chat box so why would you? 
Why should mods need to actually enforce rules on features provided to the community? Because that is exactly what you signed up for when you applied to MODERATE a community.

As Danny said, it's easier for people who aren't on a PC. So for a lot of us who work, it's good to use it on our breaks. 
 
And tbh nothing is necessary. This isn't a business process we're looking to strip down till it is lean and hyper efficient. It's a community and a lot of that is driven by humour, which the chatbox facilitated in spades. 
 
Just put rules at the top of the chatbox. Or stop trying to run this like a bloody business forum I dunno.

As many of you will have noticed, the refreshed Jailbreak server has finally been opened and features the fresh store, some new plugins and more which will be gone over in coming up posts. If you have the server bookmarked the IP is the same (jb.join-ob.com) so you should be able to join easy enough through there or through the tab at the top of the forum home page.
