Season 4 has concluded, I won. Again. Anyway. Like the title says, I've made a new hub. There are a few reasons for that. - A general disconnect with OB and the Hub. - I've had to create a new one for the Organiser page, which gives more features. - Purging the non-playing member base. What's New? Well, for starters there's now a minimum rank of 4 (there could be some exceptions with players I know are easily able to attain above this) to Queue and we will only be accepting new applicants that are level 6 or above. (No more public mode) Everyone who was a regular from the other hub will also be invited. So people who aren't apart of OB, yet have shown good behaviour and are more than welcome. There will be a possibility of faceit points being added as rewards in the hub, however, it won't be this month as I expect slight inactivity with exams. Monthly tournaments are also another consideration. The straw poll I did on the hub which was mainly OB respondents, only around 15 people were ever interested in some sort of pay in tournament. IDK if this will get off the ground but you can always pray. Doing premade would obviously result in some sort of horrorshow, like do you keep premade just within OB and just have the same 1 or 2 teams win every time or widen it to anyone and have people cry that's it's no longer OB. Personally, I will never play if level 6/7/8 or anything below supreme is involved. (Queue the same few people who are complete mongs who can't understand that competitive players don't want to play with low skilled players in a competitive environment and cry about community segregation like I'm Hitler and I just burned ur nan) There are also a few more questions like - Are you planning on keeping a small cut in the OB treasury? (If you are you REALLY should have included it in the post) Event bans won't count towards this, right?..(lol c u for the 2019 ob summer tournament hopefully!) No major changes to speak of. the Tournament replies were very low so I am under the impression only 20 people wanted some sort of tournament to be held. If anyone wants to be a moderator (The ability to manage game issues, for example when a game needs to be cancelled or re-hosted or anything) please just PM me, just be an active player and you will be considered. (Let's say 25+ games from season 3 for example) Be aware though, any abuse will result in large bans. Another thing, no prizes for season 4. We feel as though the hub isn't going in the direction we wanted and the incentive of prizes really didn't change anything it seemed. Any future prizes (If actually wanted) would have to be community funded. If there's any suggestions or questions just leave a reply below.
