Matchmaking Rank: I think I was LEM before it disappeared, need to get it back Player/Reserve: Reserve (may be unavailable all weekend now) Commitment Availability: Available
  2. I'm going to be changing the date of the rocket league tournament so that more people can play in it. If you want to play then post all of the dates you are unavailable for this summer on this post and then sign up (if you already haven't) to the rocket league tournament. Signup Link:

Outbreak Rocket League Summer Tournament 2017 Signup General Information The most likely dates for the tournament will be on the 7th and 8th of July (subject to change depending on player availability). I'm going to see what dates everyone is available on so that we can have as many people play as possible. Rocket League will probably be the tournament with the least amount of players so it's pretty important to get as many people involved as I can. In terms of how the tournament will actually be run will depend on a number of players that sign up. My plan is as follows: 10 or Less Players = Solo 10-18 Players = Doubles 18+ Players = Triples The format of the games will also depend on how many players are involved in the tournament. The idea of games I had for each format is (colour coded): 2 Groups of Round Robin where the top 2/4 players (depending on numbers and time) from each group qualify. The highest seed of Group 1 plays the lowest seed of Group 2 and so on. 1 Group of Round Robin where the top 4 teams qualify for the semi-finals. 1st plays 4th. 2nd plays 3rd. 2 Groups of Round Robin where the top 2 teams for each group qualify. The highest seed of Group 1 plays the lowest seed of Group 2 and so on. 1 Group of Round Robin where the top 4 teams qualify for the semi-finals. 1st plays 4th and 2nd plays 3rd. Rules There aren't really any rules to Rocket League so turn up to play and don't rage quit games are pretty much it. Signup Template Name: Solo Rank: Other Highest Rank: Dates unavailable: Extra Note I won't be able to stream any of this tournament due to being on 2mb internet connection while the tournament is running. If anyone would like to stream their POV or stream matches that would be a nice addition. Please feel free to purchase rocket league and play in this tournament after a couple of hours play time. There is not going to be a skill requirement for this tournament but it would be nice if you at least got an hour or two of playtime before the tournament so you know the basics. Rocket League is currently £8.99 in the Steam sale: http://store.steampowered.com/app/252950/Rocket_League/

  5. +1 from me Not been around too much recently but from what I remember Joji is a chill guy and fun to play with.
  6. It's all well and good going onto steam and looking at numbers for CSGO and saying its not a dead game but the reality is it doesn't matter how many people actually play. CSGO may have had a peak of 550K players but in reality how many of those people actually want to play jailbreak. My guess would be less than 1% of that. That is 5500 players, but it's not really a big player base. (This is just an example number). The potential player base may not be huge but there are ways in which we can help the server. Speaking from whenever I look at the server on game tracker, the server is always dead before the younger players finish school. You might see 4-5 people on but half the time the server is dead. Around 3-4pm UK time the server always started to fill up with activity. But these days that doesn't happen as the server never has people on it before that time. Maybe if the server had players already on it around the time when the biggest part of the player base is looking for a server then it would start to fill up a bit easier. If members of the community came on the server around 3-4pm then that would help a lot to get the server to fill up. Nobody wants to sit around alone waiting for others to join the server. If we have a community hour where members make an effort to populate the server for an hour around peak times then jailbreak will be twice as likely to have some people playing on it. It seems like everyone is so concerned or worried about the problem but nobody is willing to put in the effort to help fix it. I remember days when unseen would sit in a server alone just trying to populate it. He may have been admin but it's not part of the admin role to sit in a server for hours to help get players on. A perfect example of this is the surf server. Some of the community bitched and moaned about getting a surf server and it didn't go well. At the beginning it was new and a lot of OB players were interested in playing. But as time wore on and the server lost the attractiveness of newness, the server only had players on when the same players who moaned about it were on. Not even those players were interested enough to sit on the server until it populated. Not that is was ever populated unless members were on anyway. Just as a side note, I'm not saying that if you don't put that sort of effort in then you don't care. Some people don't have the time to do that sort of thing but for those that can, spend a week coming on jailbreak between 3-4pm and see if it makes any difference. I'm not going to say anything about minigames because I have no idea what makes people get on it.
  7. I need to start looking into numbers for who is interested and when they would be available. The tournament will most likely be on the 7th and 8th of July. I won't be able to stream so if anyone wants to help out on that front it would be appreciated. Just post if you are/aren't available for those days if you're interested. Overall the skill level for rocket league isn't going to be as high as other games like csgo or league so if you want to buy the game just to play you'd most likely be able to play as long as the numbers add up nicely.
  8. Obviously the right way to go with OB is to turn it into a gaming org and sponsor a top CS team. We've already debuted our first team at a LAN which was streamed on twitch. It's true we didn't get the W but what org wins the major in their debut? With a bit more player development, I see OB as a top 20 HLTV team by the end of next year. Then Conor can roll in the domino's money as all the OB merch is being sold.
  9. How half of retake servers work these days: 1) Join the server 2) Have an obnoxiously loud motd ad blast your ears off 3) Wait for the next round to start 4) Have an obnoxiously loud motd ad blast your ears off 5) Spawn in the next round 6) Have an obnoxiously loud motd ad blast your ears off 7) Die or Win round 8) Have an obnoxiously loud motd ad blast your ears off 9) Repeat steps 5-8 a few times 10) Mute motd in console 11) Have a huge annoying message pop up in game telling you to unmute motd 12) Leave server to find a less aids one 13) Can't join a team on half the servers you join because motd is muted I would probably be willing to put up with the motd ads on an OB server more than another server though.
  10. Wingman is littered with cheaters the higher your rank gets. I played with a lvl8 guy on my smurf and every game was against 2 hackers.
  11. I've actually been involved with the navy when I was in Sea Scouts so I have the experience.
  12. 21/25 Whats' english usful fore aniwey?
  13. The game is a monthly subscription, if you donate $400+ to the kick starter you get lifetime membership.
  14. Fluxy mentioned this game in TS and after watching the video I'm really interested in seeing how this game progresses. It doesn't look like anything I've seen before and definitely breaks the mould of a typical MMO. They are also highly against P2W style games so no micro transactions It's still a kickstarter so I'm not getting my hopes up too much but I really want this game to be what the video says it is. Is anyone planning on playing this game when it comes out? If you want to check it out you can through this link: https://www.ashesofcreation.com/

  16. I would say Faceit. There's a lot more top players on there than ESEA. I've had ESEA for 2 years and had no problems with it when I've actually played but they're dodgy as fuck. The software snoops into places it shouldn't be, having a bit coin miner run in the background, etc. But even with all of that dodgy stuff, CEVO was by far the worst of the three for me.

  18. Thank you for posting a new thread on the forums Jak. Was starting to get bored.
  19. COD4 1) Banned for calling out a mod for whing on a promod server 2) Banned from a promod server for 'Being a dirty cheat' or something along those lines because I was reported by a regular player who provided no evidence. Runescape 1) Got muted for trying to antiscam someone who was trying to scam me Minecraft 1) Banned for figuring out how to transfer creative blocks in survival TS 1) Got temp banned for manipulating a drunk admin to give me admin powers and break ts.
  20. +1 from me, was fun to play with in the tournament and seems like a pretty cool guy that would fit in well with OB.
  21. Make sure you stick around to come to any future of meetups, we need someone to keep an eye on Gunstar In all seriousness, thanks for everything you've done for the community! Even though I haven't been able to be as integrated as I used to be, it's still easy to see the impact you've made to OB. I'm definitely not envious of the person who has to fill your boots. Although thinking about it, people said the same thing about Wist and you did more than anyone could have imagined.
  22. Started with $15 on csgolounge, made $4500 in the space of 6 months including winning $1000 in one bet. Cashed out quite a lot, kept some of the collectible stickers/cases I had received, gambled some of it away and pretty much kept what I liked.
