Stiqqy 592 Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) Today a update for csgo was released and valve have released csgo pin cases, where you are able to unbox the usually rare csgo pins, they will be releasing a new series of pins at the next major in cologne. you will also be able to buy genuine physical pins on a different website called welovefine. http://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/2016/05/14523/ I really don't like this, as i felt that the pins which in my opinion was a more valued collectors item which meant you either had to go to an event to get one which made them more sentimental and worth more or buy one from a pin seller (i think weezy done that not sure though). Now they are the same as skins, ggwp volvo. what are your thoughts? Edited June 1, 2016 by Stiqqy 1 w33zy reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

Finnley 565 Posted June 1, 2016 Valve trying to milk their succes from the whole cases thing... Gaben is more greedy than everyone on those betting websites. I agree with you Stiqqy, the pins were always (kind of) hard to get and that's why they were cool. Now it's just.. meh Quote Share this post Link to post
VENGA BUS 2,027 Posted June 1, 2016 Wtf it's almost as if gabe is just a fat greedy cunt like the liars have always said?!? 1 Finnley reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

Its bullshit cause i have 1, only difference is that the pins are just pins and not genuine pins. 1 Stiqqy reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
MrGibbyGibson 32 Posted June 1, 2016 Anyone that has a pin will suffer. For me, I opened a case thing and made profit, so cant complain at the moment. Quote Share this post Link to post

Modx 10 Posted June 1, 2016 Are you serious ? They shouldn't do it, Its like a special award for going to ESL cologne for example, now they greatness of getting one when attending a tournement is gone :'( Quote Share this post Link to post
Skill 440 Posted June 1, 2016 The pins are there to show people what you've achieved, not how much you would pay for a rare one. This is messed up. Quote Share this post Link to post
The Untainted One 452 Posted June 2, 2016 Everyone has missed the fact that they have a new series of pins to give out at majors. Also, there was lots of problems with people scamming over pin codes so it makes sense as they're going anti-scam. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jamie 2,319 Posted June 2, 2016 Agreed with veng3 its not devaluing anyone's pins they already have. 1 Lewis reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

Oldmike 369 Posted June 2, 2016 Did this actually suprise anyone? It's obvious Valve puts more effort into coming up with new ways to make profit instead of putting more effort into fixing the game bugs and flaws! Quote Share this post Link to post
