  1. I would say the engineer needs a buff, seems to only be good inside houses and even then can be pretty easily outplayed, and the weapon for both engineer and mage is dog shit in comparison to other classes. I think the skill ceiling is higher than you make it out to be - the hit reg has seemed pretty good to me when I've played it and someone who can hit consistent headshots is gonna win way more fights than someone going for bodies. Plus, take the summit clips for examples of how abilities can be used to outplay opponents: imagine the fights that could take place if both players were using those types of tricks (guaranteed that some classes like engineer + mage would be disadvantaged considering the lack of mobility they have).
  2. Happy birthday my guy hope you get s-hung like your ancestors
  3. Took your time +1 Funny guy, great PMA, active on forums, ts etc. but for some reason he now has an edgy profile pic???
  4. Honestly, I think the random gun rounds have a place. Sure, they're not always balanced but in a casual server like this where you go on to have fun without having to commit to a full game they act as a nice bit of variation - it's pretty funny to see a team win a round with just P250s or XMs.

  9. I would still argue that there's no point having ban 'rules' if it's just gonna be up to the host's discretion anyway This makes sense
  10. I agree with everything else you've said, but why have rules set out for event bans and giving notice if you're not going to follow them? I'm all for stricter bans if that's what people want, but when the rules specifically say "Less than 24 hours notice = miss 1 event" and people get banned for 3 events despite fitting in this slot, its pretty misleading.

    ESL Outbreak Winter 2017

I can say for a fact this isn't true - throughout the finals, people were questioning the choices being made, including when it was anyone's game at halftime on train. I 100% agree with this - Kai has put an immense amount of work into to this tourney and has tried his best, despite the sign-up count and people dropping out or just not turning up to begin with. Just because there's no million dollar prize, doesn't mean teams should be unbalanced (obviously you can't have exact 50/50 chances of winning, but every team should be in with a fair shot) Scrune = lvl 10 faceit To me, the main issue with subs in the final was the fact that a player in one team was choosing the replacements. No matter how good of a person you are, you are always going to have a bias towards your team - nobody willingly replaces a member of their team with someone worse. I dislike the phrase "why don't you try it" - just because they are not or can't do it, doesn't mean its not open to criticism (although this has essentially just turned into a roast thread). At the end of the day, it's the mass who decide whether it was a good tourney or not (that's not to say that the organizers are to be held 100% responsible for it, however). Personally, I think every issue with this tournament was to do with lack of sign-ups; randoms had to be brought in just to have enough players to even host it and that comes with the inevitable problems with knowing skill levels, then people dropped out or didn't play which gave way to a host of all other difficulties. Kai tried to make the best of a bad situation as an organizer while still playing in the tourney, leading to these controversial decisions.
