dAiMantt got a reaction from VENGA BUS in How to Improve as a person
1) Own It. Pretending you're not angry—especially while exhibiting nearly cartoonish physical signs of anger—does no good for you, the target of your anger, or your blood pressure. Many people think that to acknowledge anger is the same as acting inappropriately on it. That's simply not true, and the difference in those two concepts is huge. Admitting that you are upset, whether to yourself, or as calmly as possible to the person you're in conflict with ("I admit I seem to be getting upset here. I want to resolve this and not do anything I regret, so I am going to try to slow down.") can validate your feelings. This in turn can help you feel more empowered toward working toward a solution, and it will also diminish the conflict within yourself.
2) Break It Down. So you're still simmering after your yearly review? If you jot down some of your thoughts, whether with prehistoric pen and paper or with an app du jour, you'll gain some clarity as to how they're serving as the antecedents to your feelings. In the process, you can sort out why you're upset and what steps you can take work through the situation. Perhaps most important, putting your feelings into words can make them feel more tangible, and therefore more manageable—which can eventually help them work their way out of your system.
3) Move It Out. As physical signs go, anger can look very similar to other forms of arousal, like anxiety or even excitement. Calming those physical impulses, or giving them someplace useful to go, can help you get your anger under control. Slow down your breathing through several long, deep breaths. Loosen your muscles through clenching and unclenching your fists and slowly doing a neck roll. If you can use that arousal for good rather than for clocking someone in the face, you'll be better off. So channel that rage into an activity that can release tension: running, kickboxing, dancing, jumping rope, or even just beating your fists against your chest like a gorilla. A primal scream can be helpful if you are blessed with the space. Instead of letting your frustration burn you up, you can burn it off. And if it comes out in the shape of tears, or even demonic laughter? Just let it.
4) Find The Big Picture. If you're still feeling steamed from that interaction with your colleague or that snarky tone from the person in line at the coffee shop, it might be time to make a list of the things you're grateful for.Gratitude meditations, or just sitting and focusing on what's right in your life, will make what you're angry about seem more molehill than mountain. You might also choose to think about the person whom you think has wronged you, and imagine what unique challenges they may be reacting to. Think about the ways that they could use someempathy, and try to mentally give it to them—that can often neutralize anger.
5) Share—carefully. If there is a friend or loved one you trust, sharing your feelings with them can sometimes be cathartic. But be aware that not everyone is equipped to hear difficult feelings in a healthy, supportive way. Some might just not be good listeners, and could just try to bottle up your emotions for you. Others might try to fan the flames, like audiences in a gladiator match.
6) Act. If someone drove poorly on the freeway, you'll simply move on, eventually. But if you're part of a toxic relationship or the victim of a serial aggressor, you'll need to do what you can to chart out steps to improve the situation. A specific plan of action with methodical goals, and the pathways to get there, can lend a very important sense of control, reducing your stress and increasing your peace.
7) Be Watchful. Sometimes things may seem to be resolved, but rage still lingers residually, in the form of irritability, insomnia, or evendepression. Increasing your mindfulness via your awareness in the moment of your thoughts and feelings, and the triggers that seem to cause them, can serve as an early warning system for future conflicts. It can also help you determine if your anger is due to something deeper that could benefit from talking to a professional.

dAiMantt got a reaction from Joji in Dj parkinsons # Member # Application (DECLINED)
Might be me, but the first time I have seen your name pop up was your intro post.
But, by reading both your intro and member post you seem to be cool. I think you need to give it more time and join more discussions on the forums and join teamspeak more.
Good luck though :)

Roughly how long have you been playing our server(s)? Been here since Dec 31, 2015
What qualities can you bring to Outbreak?
I try to be as friendly as possible although I will agree I may take things too far sometimes, I've tried pretty hard to integrate with all sides of the community as much as possible. Although early on I was looking for nothing else other than just to play JB I've definitely made quite a lot of friends while hanging around in ts and playing gathers. I'd say that my humor and personality is an acquired taste and I could see why you could dislike me, although i will remain as friendly as possible. The main quaility i could bring is try to be happy and level with people on certain issues and problems they may have, just in general talk, have a laugh and all be nice together i suppose.
Tell us a little something about yourself:
Hi, my name is Jack I'm from Rotherham (aka shithole of Yorkshire), I spend a lot of my time playing video games originally starting out with mainly console games, although my first "console" was actually PSP. I actually own 2 dogs, one being named Fudge who is 4 years old and the other being called Floss who is currently 2 months old. Weirdly the first "Jailbreak gametype I ever played was TF2 Jailbreak where it was a wasteland of freekilling and rule breaking, they even allowed typing wardens looking back on it i've got no idea how I had so much fun playing it as everything was so aids with a lack of moderation.
Is this your first post?
Nope
Have you been around for less than a month (this includes Teamspeak and forums)?
No
(If you said yes to either of the two questions above, don't apply now)

dAiMantt reacted to Lewis in Outbreak Welcome Video (CSGO) - Need your help
I think whatever it is it'd be cool to incorporate a multitude of game(modes) because that is what the community has become.
Problem with that original video is it limits the intro to jailbreak -though we were playing many other games at the time too.
Outbreak is a gaming community where we can all play diff multiplayer games together, that's probably what a lot of solo gamers are looking for, a bunch of chill people who they can play many games with in a group.
Could have some sort of video of funny moments with scenes from:
-Surf, Jailbreak, Competetive CS, GTA, AOE, l4d2 etc.
Obviously if the main goal is populating the servers stick to something surf/JB based, but the above idea would get people involved in TS, forums and an influx of members.
How it'd work:
Now this is obviously a complicated idea, and from years of playing jailbreak and realising how hard it is to just get 14 people organised into two teams, it is probably unlikely. But with enough coordination, and choosing people who are known to not be retarded, it could get done.
(presuming there is no rush to get this video done, since the last one was like 4 years ago)
Sunday 28th August:
7PM-8PM: 10v10 on the Surf Server (Speaks for itself)
8-9PM: 1 Hour of Jailbreak (3 wardens, 17 prisoners, swapped out each round to give everyone a chance at wardening)
Sunday 4th September:
7PM-8PM: 2 gathers on at once
8PM-9PM: 1 hour of AOE (2 or 3 separate games, recorded by one separate event organiser)
Sunday 11th September
2 more hours of 2 separate games of whatever community sees fit
All of the above is recorded by some kind chaps who are organising this event, with the teamspeak communication (KEY)
-This would give us hours of footage in such a short space of time, but provide a valuable insight into how our community operates, most likely provide lots of funny moments, from a variety of people in Outbreak. It's an idea striving for more OB-naturalé rather than the common scheduled event like the shown example, which personally I find too fake and cringey, albeit funny.
-At the end of the session - gather for instance, 2 or 3 funny scenes from each game and make it into a short 3 min video with some cool background music
-Games are obviously open to change, create a strawpoll of perhaps 15 games which you think OB plays the most, then have the option to vote for 6 games which will be played over 3 weeks.
-Benefits of both sets of games: Jailbreak and surf - everybody in one game, other games - 3 different games going on at once, tripling amount of funny shit to happen
-I highly doubt nothing interesting will happen, with 20-25 people playing 6 different games for a total of 6+ hours, but worst comes to worst and we're lacking a bit of footage, and shift in some of what we've already got from gathers or W.E
TL;DR
-People sign up to this event, saying which games they have and are willing to play (as not every1 got GTA etc)
-Over 3 weeks, play the games which our community specialises in - have it recorded with TS comms
-Make all funny shit into vid
-???
-Profit
Pros:
-Gets a MASSIVE amount of people involved
-Loads of fun, what we'd do on a normal day anyway - but more special :))
-Would be awesome to watch after
Cons:
-GL getting this to happen with OB average IQ of 55

Roughly how long have you been playing our server(s)? It all started about 2/3 months ago when i joined the server.
What qualities can you bring to Outbreak? I am a very friendly person who is sometimes toxic. I most of the times speak to most people even if i dont really know them that well. i am not really a quiet person i just talk whenever i really want to while having a good time. Whether this is playing games or just trolling people.
Tell us a little something about yourself: I am Michiel Stevens, 16 years old, and live in Belgium. I have 1 brother, and no sisters. When i was 11 my grandfather died, and it was a pretty emotional time for me. It was a really hard time for me, bcs as i said i was 11 and didn't really know how to react about a family member dying. When i was 12 i started playing football, what didn't really work out well. I had no condition, because i'm one of those lazy kids, who dont really do that much in their free time. So that stopped pretty early. Now i like to hang around with friends, going on vacation with them in the week-ends, etc. I mainly game on my laptop playing cs:go on the Outbreak servers, surf/jailbreak. If not i'm hanging around and talking with friends.
Is this your first post? No.
Have you been around for less than a month (this includes Team speak and forums)? No i have been around for about 2-3 months

dAiMantt reacted to Eraser in Sick of Jamies lies
SO, as you all know Jamie said, "My computer is broke lol i have to wait for my new computer lol should be here soon man then i can play in the 1v1 tournament lol sah dood"
However, yung jimmy isn't as legit as he seems. I have PHOTO EVIDENCE that Jamie has been on his computer the whole time.
Here we have jamie clearly at his computer wearing a gaming headset, very suspicious indeed.
Follow me as i take you further down the rabbit hole that is this decieving "global" and his endless treachery.
This image speaks for itself, jamie is clearly messaging yung hugo macdaddy saying he lied to get out of the 1v1 against dearest Sivmen. Shame on you Jimmy, shame.
Here again we have jamie on his steam account wondering whether he should sell his p250 sand dunes for keys or not.
NSFW: And finally Jimmy in the tub.

For twenty pounds they seem pretty good, but I have big ears so the size complaints would be a problem. I just honestly end up eating Cereal constantly tbh.

dAiMantt reacted to Finnley in dAiMantt's Member application (DECLINED)
Hey dAiMantt, you are a really nice guy, everyone who played with you knows that. But there is also a big part of the community who don't play on the JailBreak server anymore, the server is only a small part of this community. If you really want to go for member (which I think you definitely should) you should integrate more with people on teamspeak and on the forums. Let people know you want to be part of the community. As for now, don't change or attitude/mentallity, you are a really nice person like Cereal already mentioned. You only need to get yourself more known by all the other members and the rest of the community.
With a little luck you get a week trial to prove yourself worthy. Worst case scenario: you have to re-apply in one month, which happens to the best ;)

dAiMantt got a reaction from Finnley in Battlefield 1
If the game is as good as the trailer I'm gonna love it.
But I've seen games with good trailers and than the game turned out being shit. So I hope this won't happen to the new battlefield.
Lets hope gameplay videos are coming soon, so we can see how its actually gonna look like.
