Outbreak Welcome Video (CSGO) - Need your help

Hey guys, so have been wanting to do this for a while now, but finally got the time. What I am planning to do is make a intro/welcome video for OB which is planned to go on the OB Youtube channel and the new Landing Page. I was going to post this in the admin section but thought why not get the community involved as well and see what you guys come up with. To give you an idea of what it looks like, please see below. 
Some of you will remember this nostalgic video from CSS:

This was a pre-planned event organised by the admins and members from OB CSS. We will also do an event like this to play everything out once we have a good script pinned down. This WILL be an exclusive event for Members+ because who better to represent the community than the ob members themselves.

So this is what I need from you guys:

- Ideas for the script, e.g. Singing contest interrupted by the warden for warday as seen above. What can we do to make it as funny and entertaining as possible. Something a new player will look at and be like "That looks fun, I wanna be a part of this community!". Please post below with your ideas and make it as detailed as possible. (Dw about it being cringey, Im sure all of the ideas will be cringey in some way or another)
- A Cameraman - you can record CSGO at a very high quality and are creative with the camera angles. If this role fits you, please let me know below.

The ideas will be reviewed by me and a few other admins and we will pick out the best ones to be carried out. We will probably use Jailbreak AND Surf servers and maybe Teamspeak if you can come up with something creative for that. Please post your ideas below, thanks.

I think whatever it is it'd be cool to incorporate a multitude of game(modes) because that is what the community has become.

Problem with that original video is it limits the intro to jailbreak -though we were playing many other games at the time too.

Outbreak is a gaming community where we can all play diff multiplayer games together, that's probably what a lot of solo gamers are looking for, a bunch of chill people who they can play many games with in a group.

Could have some sort of video of funny moments with scenes from:

-Surf, Jailbreak, Competetive CS, GTA, AOE, l4d2 etc.

Obviously if the main goal is populating the servers stick to something surf/JB based, but the above idea would get people involved in TS, forums and an influx of members.

 

How it'd work:

Now this is obviously a complicated idea, and from years of playing jailbreak and realising how hard it is to just get 14 people organised into two teams, it is probably unlikely. But with enough coordination, and choosing people who are known to not be retarded, it could get done. 

(presuming there is no rush to get this video done, since the last one was like 4 years ago)

Sunday 28th August:

7PM-8PM: 10v10 on the Surf Server (Speaks for itself)

8-9PM: 1 Hour of Jailbreak (3 wardens, 17 prisoners, swapped out each round to give everyone a chance at wardening)

Sunday 4th September:

7PM-8PM: 2 gathers on at once

8PM-9PM: 1 hour of AOE (2 or 3 separate games, recorded by one separate event organiser)

Sunday 11th September

2 more hours of 2 separate games of whatever community sees fit

 

All of the above is recorded by some kind chaps who are organising this event, with the teamspeak communication (KEY)

 

 

-This would give us hours of footage in such a short space of time, but provide a valuable insight into how our community operates, most likely provide lots of funny moments, from a variety of people in Outbreak. It's an idea striving for more OB-naturalé rather than the common scheduled event like the shown example, which personally I find too fake and cringey, albeit funny.

-At the end of the session - gather for instance, 2 or 3 funny scenes from each game and make it into a short 3 min video with some cool background music

-Games are obviously open to change, create a strawpoll of perhaps 15 games which you think OB plays the most, then have the option to vote for 6 games which will be played over 3 weeks.

-Benefits of both sets of games: Jailbreak and surf - everybody in one game, other games - 3 different games going on at once, tripling amount of funny shit to happen

-I highly doubt nothing interesting will happen, with 20-25 people playing 6 different games for a total of 6+ hours, but worst comes to worst and we're lacking a bit of footage, and shift in some of what we've already got from gathers or W.E

 

 

TL;DR

-People sign up to this event, saying which games they have and are willing to play (as not every1 got GTA etc)

-Over 3 weeks, play the games which our community specialises in - have it recorded with TS comms

-Make all funny shit into vid

-???

-Profit

 

 

Pros:

-Gets a MASSIVE amount of people involved

-Loads of fun, what we'd do on a normal day anyway - but more special :))

-Would be awesome to watch after

 

Cons:

-GL getting this to happen with OB average IQ of 55

Maybe we can have the staff members and major people of the community having sounds clips of saying welcome or whatever and maybe say what their nationality is and what their favourite part of the community is.

I like this idea to show OB as more then just a Jailbreak / Surf community

There's alot more about this community then just Jailbreak / Surf (hell i rarely play either) and joined simply because i wanted to play games with fun people.

it would be nice if we could advertise it as such.

I've been waiting almost a good 4 years for this and I really think we should take the opportunity to show off everything we do, like Lewis said. Personally I'd love to see videos for each game we play, sort of like how TF2 has Meet the (class) we should have Meet Outbreaks (game), as well as 1 general Outbreak video (or we use Jailbreak as the flagship). Each video allows us to show off so much stuff and I'd love to take part in this.

Additionally I am up for doing any mapping and modelling this requires. Currently I've been working on map assets to include the new Outbreak logo meaning we can have plenty of branding throughout the videos.

With the thing about teamspeak I thought about some kind of scenes in which you start recording the teamspeak view, where you can see two gather rooms full and the merge it into a gather and see everyone playing and hearing them on teamspeak, yeah I know that's probably very hard to do, but in my mind looks awesome haha
