Hey
Many of you are aware of it already but this is the public post to make it official.
After taking a long time to come to this decision, I have decided to step down from Head-Admin and being part of staff. It took so long to finally decide as for a while I felt that I couldn't step down in a sense, but I feel like the timing is right and I didn't want to continue in a role which I was struggling to find the will to work in.
There are a multitude of reasons for it being now and people can feel free to message me if they want to talk further, but I'd rather talk about my time as staff rather than focusing on the leaving.
Outbreak has put countless obstacles, challenges and environments in my path for me to deal with and given me a depth of experience that not many people can say they've taken from an online role. From running events to dealing with people on a more personal level, I have been able to grasp an understanding of people from so many different backgrounds.
Unlike back when I was moderator on CSS, there was a level of emotion to it this time that I never had before and I can only say I'm grateful for being able to work on this community in that way. It might just be an online gaming community but it means a lot to me. Outbreak became something that putting time into was more valuable to me than a lot of things which other people might have thought should have taken priority, but I'm glad that it did.
One of my few regrets is that during my time we weren't able to establish expansion on a server level for a prolonged period of time. We grew as a core community and, in my opinion, became far more unified than we were before I entered the position but it appears the task of further game server expansion is on the shoulders of those who I will leave.
I'd like to thank everyone who has ever put or will put voluntary work into this community, as staff or otherwise. I will still be around as a member (though busy due to exams for the near future) and if I ever decide to return to staff I'll work my way up, the way any ex staff member should.
My only request is that as a community we try show our appreciation for those who put effort in a bit more. I'm aware many of you do appreciate people's efforts and you do mean well, but showing that bit of acknowledgement and perhaps turning the whining or picking into doing or constructing would go a long way towards progressing this community further.
For anyone who is confused: Kwaheri means Goodbye in Swahili.

You are a quality guy that is friendy and active on most if not all the platforms. However i think that there is times that you become a "shit kid", but this may just be because of the people you are with. Although this is sometimes true, i very much believe that you deserve trial/member as these things can be easily corrected/improved as they are only minor and not major things.

Planned Server Maintenance 
Tomorrow 31/03/17, I'll be performing some server maintenance. All of our servers will be offline for a few hours and will gradually come back online. All of our servers should be fully online by the evening however I'm going to try to get it done quite quickly. I'm going to get Teamspeak up first so you can at least chat to each other and then gradually bring the rest online. When the servers are back up you probably won't notice much difference but I'm aiming to fix quite a few back-end issues.

Becoming vegetarian is someones choice and shouldn't be frowned upon by others as it is their choice and they shouldn't be judged on it. Although meat is needed for the right amount of vitamins in your diet, you can also take vitamin tablets to substitute this in, therefore allowing the people to make their own choice. Although people cattle farming or eating meat is wrong, it wont change as so many people do it as well as many people make a lot of money from it.
Becoming a vegetarian or any other different diet term is someones choice, although some might agree with it, others may not. However there is some point in which the people take it too far. One of which is when "animal rights people" protested in which they branded themselves "like cattle" , like they described it . Yes i understand their point, but don't you agree that this is too far and some what just taking it too far?
Well i have said my point, overall "veges" and "Vegans" have their right to their opinions and diet don't get me wrong, i fully respect that, however when they take it too far then it becomes stupid in how they are trying to convey their point. These people in the video are people who are fighting for animal rights, and yes i agree with them  but only to a certain extent, otherwise we wouldnt have meat in this current age.

Thanks to all who turned up. A few of the things we didn't expect included the colour plugin reset on freeze, the people being force swapped to CT and the slight fps drop on second map - but otherwise I hope the event wasn't so bad and that you guys enjoyed it.
 
My only comment would be is that some of you could have a bit more tact in the way you handle yourselves, ik some of you mean nothing by it or some of you are just meme'ing - but even if the event goes on a bit (which I admit it could have had a couple less rounds), asking 'can I go yet' in an exasperated, whiny voice is a bit scumbag considering people are giving up time to try run this for you.

Been a while since the last update due to the busy and quiet nature meaning there wasn't much to post about last month, but hopefully things now are being kicked back into gear and the updates will keep coming.

We'd like to say a massive thank you all for the time you put into the community. Most of you are still present in our community and will continue to help out where you can we're sure, but taking on the responsibility as part of staff often puts you in a spot with others that isn't always easy to deal with. Although keeping the staff fresh and active is important, having individuals who have been in a similar role in the past as part of our core memberbase can only continue to make our core community stronger. There would be more I would like to say about each person individually but I hope I was able to bring that appreciation across to them directly at the time, so this is to just provide some recognition for them all.
 
- ESL Outbreak Spring Tournament
We have the next Outbreak CSGO tournament coming up during the Easter holidays. The post will be up sometime in the next few days so make sure to look out for it if you want to get in on OB's seasonal competitive action. We intend for this to take a similar style to the most recent Winter tournament.
 
- Awards
As mentioned in the last update, awards are on their way. There will be a variety of awards to recognise a wide range of achievements. For the time being the main awards being awarded for you to see are victory trophies for victors of Outbreak's tournaments, however we have many more to come and are open to reasonable suggestions for future awards.
