Once again Outbreak has taken a large blow as yet another of its fellow performers has given in to the illusion of life and moved on into the realm of men.  That person took with them the only talent that the community had left, leaving both the teamspeak and the server terribly quiet.  Although people tried to step up and take the spotlight with their imaginative soundboards and hilarious comments, they just couldn’t fill the space that was left by the previous member.
 
 

 
 
Conor, being the all-knowing saint we all know and love finally thought up a magnificent idea about how we could replace this huge gap that has lingered on every platform.  His idea would be a competition, an extremely gruelling competition that would test the heart and soul of all participants.  Some may even die given how hard the competition is, and although those people will be missed by the community, it is a sacrifice that Conor is willing to make.

The OBFactor is here again to find a new performer to thrill everybody on all of Outbreaks platforms.  Will Unseen’s hands be colder than his ice cold heart and allow him to claim the spotlight he desires for? Or will Blyss’ drunken stupor be enough to catapult him into fame? Or perhaps another mystery contender will win the hour, only time can tell, though I suppose it would only be fitting if we said; you just won’t see it coming!
 
 

 
Event: OBFactor
General Rules
 
- This event will be a talent contest, or more notable, a singing contest where competitors will show off their vocal talents.
 
- We will split the event into several segments; these segments will act as preliminary stages where competitors will compete against each other in a single elimination bracket.  At the end of each segment we will eliminate half of the competitors and continue on, eventually moving on to the final part of the event which will decide who physically wins it. 
 
- Obviously this is a singing competition so we expect who sign up for the event to be willing to put themselves forward and actually sing, not just sit around hoping to avoid being asked to sing.  Players who are found to be doing this will be removed from the event and a more willing participant will take their place. 
 
- Being disruptive and generally a nuisance when other players are performing / when the hosts are talking will also land you with a warning and eventually you will be removed. 
 
- Finally, this is an event, the aim of it is to have fun so please come and enjoy yourself.

EACH BARRISTER IS SELF-EMPLOYED. THIS IS NOT A COMPANY. THIS IS MERELY A SHARED OFFICE. MEMBERS OF VENGI SQUARE CHAMBERS CAN AND OFTEN WILL FACE EACH OTHER IN A COURT OF OUTBREAK.
 
What does a barrister do in Outbreak?
Do you say, "we was" in lieu of "we were"? If so, then we help people like you. We know how difficult it can be to articulate your argument succinctly and effectively, when you've just been banned for what feels like no reason. Let us do it for you. We might be drafting your unban request for you, or speaking on your behalf with administrators and admins. Many of our barristers have served as administrators or have extensive experience working with them, so we offer years of experience to put at your disposal, for whatever you need achieving.
 
How does it work?
You, as the client, select someone from the Bar Register below, and contact the individual, detailing what assistance you need. Once they accept your case, it is their obligation to secure the best possible outcome for you, either through drafting your unban (you must post it, to comply with the letter of OB law), to speaking with moderators and administrators on your behalf, to simply drafting posts for you in a concise and eloquent fashion. Really, it is up to you and your barrister to decide the extent of their duties in your working relationship, as well as fees and payment. 
 
What if I am a corporate [OB staff] client?
We also serve corporate clients. Any member of staff can hire us, provided they pay the fees. We are happy to represent you in defence against unban requests against you or a member of your staff. Announcements regarding changes in legislation can be incendiary, provoking bad press and backlash against the administrative staff - with the expertise of our barristers, you can rest assured that your announcement will be drafted professionally, eloquently and with a water-tight argument. The fee is negotiable solely at the individual barrister.

Able to play both sides of the legislative fence due to previous moderation experience, where he tutored inexperienced administrative staff and owners, alongside being sourced for freelance work on Outbreak's official forums and voice communication platform.
