On this terrain, I do an average speed of 15mph so I'm looking at 4.5 to 5 hours. There are food zones at 2 points where I can pick up supplies and I can decide to stop and eat or eat on the move (I'll probably do the latter)

Tomorrow I will be riding this, as part of the Plymouth Gran Fondo. There's 2 variants: 100 mile and 75, I'm being a bit of a pussy and doing the 75 mile route. This route goes across Dartmoor and into Cornwall, covering at least 10,000ft of climbing. I'm pretty nervous as I've never done anything of this mileage (well, not with so much climbing involved) Wish me luck anyway!
