Story Post Once again Outbreak has taken a large blow as yet another of its fellow performers has given in to the illusion of life and moved on into the realm of men. That person took with them the only talent that the community had left, leaving both the teamspeak and the server terribly quiet. Although people tried to step up and take the spotlight with their imaginative soundboards and hilarious comments, they just couldn’t fill the space that was left by the previous member. Conor, being the all-knowing saint we all know and love finally thought up a magnificent idea about how we could replace this huge gap that has lingered on every platform. His idea would be a competition, an extremely gruelling competition that would test the heart and soul of all participants. Some may even die given how hard the competition is, and although those people will be missed by the community, it is a sacrifice that Conor is willing to make. We would like to thank Biggles for the picture :) <3. The OBFactor is here again to find a new performer to thrill everybody on all of Outbreaks platforms. Will Unseen’s hands be colder than his ice cold heart and allow him to claim the spotlight he desires for? Or will Blyss’ drunken stupor be enough to catapult him into fame? Or perhaps another mystery contender will win the hour, only time can tell, though I suppose it would only be fitting if we said; you just won’t see it coming! Event: OBFactor General Rules - This event will be a talent contest, or more notable, a singing contest where competitors will show off their vocal talents. - We will split the event into several segments; these segments will act as preliminary stages where competitors will compete against each other in a single elimination bracket. At the end of each segment we will eliminate half of the competitors and continue on, eventually moving on to the final part of the event which will decide who physically wins it. - Obviously this is a singing competition so we expect who sign up for the event to be willing to put themselves forward and actually sing, not just sit around hoping to avoid being asked to sing. Players who are found to be doing this will be removed from the event and a more willing participant will take their place. - Being disruptive and generally a nuisance when other players are performing / when the hosts are talking will also land you with a warning and eventually you will be removed. - Finally, this is an event, the aim of it is to have fun so please come and enjoy yourself. RESERVES: (No particularl order, whoever is online and ready will get priority) Unlike other events, we will not be doing the normal priority order. Since this is a singing competition, we want people to actually put some effort in, thus we will be choose from the people we feel will actually apply themselves and come ready to actually perform in the competition.
