Blyss 975 Posted January 31, 2016 Lunch directly translated to portuguese should be lanche which is basically tea(I believe) for you (a little meal between lunch and dinner) which is something that confuses a lot of us when we first learn english since we assume that lunch is actually tea. Substick 163 Posted January 31, 2016 So for the people in the North of England, "tea" is what we call "dinner". Else where in the UK, "tea" is a cup of tea. Tea is also used in the north or various places in the UK, though we also use various other words such as; brew, cuppa and probably several more. Tea is also the greatest drink in the world :D. GingerPopper 402 Posted February 3, 2016 In Bulgaria we eat alot of stuff that differentiates from other country's a food called banica: https://www.google.bg/search?q=banica&s ... 8GfZCNM%3A it basically like bread but not exactly and it can be filled by various other foods like cheese, meat and vegetables. We also like to eat alot of meat, and i mean alot we also eat it with a salad with the appropriate name of 'Balkan Salad': https://www.google.bg/search?q=traditio ... 9DkWRlM%3A And with all that most bulgarians eat with a drink next to them called 'Rakia' a brandy or liquor made from grapes just like wine but alot stronger: https://www.google.bg/search?q=rakiq&es ... -T0k4kM%3A And with that now you know what a basic bulgarian dinner/lunch looks like :P Quote Share this post Link to post

It's funny how here in Portugal people aren't really fans of tea except for older people, I for instance can't drink tea, I absolutely hate it and I've tried dozens of different flavors but in the UK it seems like everyone loves it :D Quote Share this post Link to post
