    Books

Currently reading - Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi, different from the usual genre I read, but it is rather an interesting moral book. Favourite series -Legend series by Marie Lu.
  3. Hello Brawler, great to see that you joined up to our forums! Hope you have a lot of fun here, and with the community in general.
  4. Hello Hexority, thank-you for taking the time to make this unban request. However, please could you format it in the style defined here
  5. We wouldn't be that cruel. Wouldn't We? Runs off to cancel his own secret experiments.
  6. Sure :) First thoughts were that the forums had been infected with a crypovirus...

This is the Tokamak reactor design used to create confined plasma which can then be used to create power through a generated magnetic field. Tokamaks were invented in the 1950s by Soviet physicists Igor Tamm and Andrei Sakharov, inspired by an original idea of Oleg Lavrentiev.

Aha, an awesome looking map that we haven't tested before (as far as I'm reading on the thread)! You seemed to lack a download link, so let me provide one Here.
  9. FTL (A strategy game where you try to save a civilisation by flying your ship across space saving people and killing enemies) Hotline Miami (A game where you just try to kill everyone in a good old arcade form) Borderlands 2 (A generic FPS with a cool art style) AoE II (A RTS game where you try to build bases and kill enemies. Good campaign that follows semi-real life) Factorio (Non-Steam) (Sandbox building game where you create massive factory lines) OSU (Non-Steam) (A clicker game where bubbles come up and you have to click them to the rhythm of the music) Also, the way you worded the title, to me at least, makes it appear as if you're asking if there are any games on Steam :P.
  10. Hello Loney! Welcome to the forums, damn you've spent a long time coming to it :) Hope you have fun here.
  11. It's rather ancient and hidden, I'm sure another thread couldn't hurt.
  12. Nah Fluxy, it's cool. On the last forums we started off with only two people for the first two months, it was still fun to play :)
  13. Defraggler - The most effective defragging tool that I've found. Speccy - Check the components inside of your computer Core Temp - Check the temperature of your CPU. PuTTY - If you need an SSH client for windows, this is the one you should use. PC Decrapifier - Removes unwanted content from your computer. Revo Uninstaller - Actually uninstalls programs, unlike the in-built Windows one which only removes program files (sometimes leaving data files). Spybot - Removes spyware from your computer. Windows SysInternals - Some nice technical information about your computer. 7-Zip - A nice unzipping tool that unzips everything under the sun and has the lightest footprint I've seen (1MB installed). UTorrent - The best torrenter at the moment. Launchy - Save time by opening everything via the keyboard in a simple way. Bitlocker - Installed by default on Windows computers, this is an encryption program. It makes it harder for quite a few programs to take data from your computer, especially IRL threats. Resource Monitor - Installed by default on Windows systems. A useful tool for checking usage by specific programs and better than 90% of the ones available online. Action Center - Again, installed by default. Will tell you things that are wrong with your computer at the moment.
  14. If you feel like the game is too complex for you, you do realise you can not play it? It's a free country after all. Skiller, a preliminary look shows that all you've done seems right :). The reason you need grain for maintenance is that your workers eat food! (Unless you want to make them starve...) Maintenance is used up at the end of each week. If you fail to pay maintenance, the level of your office is decreased by one. If it is already lvl 1, you lose it. Interest for loans is going to be simplified. So, for example, 1,000 to be paid back over 4 weeks with 5% interested. 5% will be added to 1000 (1050) and then divided by the payment period (263 (rounded up)). This price will then be taken from the user at the end of each week. If you're selling in your trade, it's counted as a phase two action. If you're buying in your trade, it's counted as a phase one action.

    Puzzle

Gave us a one character hint and I'm still hitting my head against a wall. Fun little puzzle, thanks ;) (Not little at all...)
  16. The general syntax to join is to: join Although, considering everything is handled by me, just type a general syntax that seems readable and I'll be able to convert it :3. Note the general setup when you start the game is mentioned in the thread:
  17. Google translate is a rather fun tool to use. However I still challenge you to pronounce it correctly (in Greek) ;)
  18. Welcome to έμπορος (I too, have no idea how the hell you pronounce this), a game where each player is a trader in the ancient Grecian Empire. This is a slightly more indepth game than my previous (as if something could be simpler) and so if you don't understand something, you are more than allowed to either PM me the question or make it a reply to this thread (preferable, unless it is private, as other people may also have that same query). The Goal: The goal of this game is to earn as much money as possible. This can be done by trading with the Delian provinces, with Athens itself or with other players in the game. There is no set end time to this game (as reaching the end is a formiddable task) and new players will be able to join at any point. Turns: The game consists of turns that last for one week, both in game and real life and each turn ends at midnight, each Sunday. The turns themselves are split up into two phases, phase one and phase two. Phase One: Buy goods with your money and trade goods and money with other players. Phase Two: Sell your goods for money and do other things that cost resources. Although you can decide when your phases end, they have to be in order. So phase one will always occur before phase two. Start of the Game: When you sign up for the game, you have to choose one of the 11 provinces below. You start with a trade office in Athens, and a trade office in the province of your choice. It has to be a province that has the least number of offices (which can be found at the bottom of the page). You also start with 10,000 coins. To enter, you can type join . Possible Actions: You can take a number of possible actions in the game, these are listed below. All actions MUST be posted in bold, anything not in bold will not be read and instead counted as discussion with others. There is no limit to the number of actions you can take. Phase 1 Actions:
  19. Slightly disappointed with the current line-up of films, I was so much more hyped in past years. However, there are still some gems coming up that I'm totally hyped for ;). Deadpool Suicide Squad Star Trek Beyond
  20. It's only a relatively recent thing of posting on peoples member applications, most people still seem to congratulate others in person, which seems like a much better way of doing. I do hope this shift of congratulations on the forums doesn't prevent the former of congratulating in person as you seem to lose this personal touch. I feel like this just becomes a way to simply increase your post count, which congratulations shouldn't be :3. But, on the note of this actual thread, congratulations on member CSPhil, you deserved it ;)
  21. 800 (We need a better way of doing giveaways)
  22. I've recently started enjoying FaceIt, it seems to be a much better alternative to competitive, where everyone is usually so caustic and it just makes the whole game experience terrible. My name on it is Popey456963, and I would love to join sometime.
