This thread is to congratulate @Jamie on finally seeing the light and selling his PUBG skins. He is now officially returning to CSGO and I know how glad we all are of him. You can even look in his inventory where you can see that he has in fact, sold his skins for that terrible game. Please leave your positive comments/congratulations on his good choices below. Welcome back Jamie. We can already see the progress he is making with his CS inventory.

We can all agree that Brandon is the most consistent cs player in OB. Never before have I seen someone bait his entire team and still be toxic every round, like Stiqqy said, he is consistent, and no one can deny it. All teams played every team in their group once, that's how it's always been in OB tourneys. and like @Akame™ said, we aren't going to cross teams into other groups because that's not how it works either...

Hello everyone. After whatever you want to call today, we did eventually get all games played. Even if we had 7 replacement players. These are how the teams look after today's games. (Everyone is still expected to show up and play their last game) Apologies for not having any of the games streamed, it would have been too time consuming considering I was trying to get all the games going by my self, and also the fact that there was no one who could have moderated the server, as I was the only one around with server admin and I had a game to play myself. That being said, a group stage match and one of the semi-final matches should be getting streamed tomorrow. Thanks to @Sovman @Cereal @Drake and @Absolute for replacing. +3 friends of friends who came I would also like to thank those who signed up and did turn up to play, if you had left because of the lateness then the event would have been much harder to start and most likely would have been called off. Things should be more organised tomorrow.

No one said Greg and Sovman is OP, Greg got a more suitable replacement for the first pick that he chose. It was Liutvi, I told Greg multiple times while we were picking teams to pick someone else, but he was set on having Liutvi. In the rules it does say that the replacements will be the same or equal skill. I doubt anyone who plays gathers or cs from OB can say that those 2 are the same skill.

After a very long, but "enjoyable" and not aids session with the captains, we have our 8 teams: Team Names Team 1 - Global Elite Warriors / GEW Team 2 - Team 2 / T2 Team 3 - The Special Bus / TSB Team 4 - Random Kids / RK Team 5 - Zelka Academy / ZA Team 6 - The Drew Peacocks / TDP Team 7 - The Blankets / TB Team 8 - Obliter8 Reborn / OR Schedule: Some matches may need to start slightly earlier or later depending on if we need to wait for the streamed game to finish.

Information Rank Requirements: There is no rank that you must be above before signing up for this event, but you must have an MM rank that you can give when you sign up. Please note that we will prioritize players in the interest of making the tournament as competitive as possible, players who we consider more reliable will likely be given spots first despite us not explicitly excluding anyone. Commitment: Please ensure you are available before signing up for this event. There will be no more than 3 maps per night, depending on wins and losses. This is an OB event and failure to turn up after signing up can result in an event ban. Reserves: We will still be wanting reserves in the case of players being needed. If you are unsure about being able to commit completely and wish to sign up, please do so as a reserve first and update your post later on if needed. As usual, when picking reserves the player will be either equal or worse - replacements will not always be ideal and the best fit will be provided where possible so we do not expect people to pester hosts about these decisions. Maps: All maps which are currently on active duty will be used in this event: Cache, Cobblestone, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass, Train. Servers: We will be using Popflash and an OB server. Tournament Format: This will be confirmed once we know the number of teams available to us. Prizes: OB Champ and forum award are given to the winners. Also eternal bragging rights. Twitch: 1 game per round will be streamed on the live OB server, no matches on popflash will be streamed. Stats: Stats will be released shortly after tournament conclusion. Captains: Captains will be selected and messaged either on Teamspeak or steam. You will be invited to a channel and expected to attend to pick your teams. Games: All games will be a best of one, except the grand final which will be a best of three. All best of one games will have a knife fight for sides. Map Bans: For the best of ones, all maps will be banned and the last one will be played. For the grand finals, each captain will ban once, then pick once, then ban until the final map.
