    Vegetarianism

I'm not a vegetarian, but that's an incorrect statement. Humans don't NEED meat. We're descendants from apes, who, in both the past and present have a diet MOSTLY consisting of leaves, fruit, nuts etc. Gorillas and Orangutans are entirely vegetarian. To shed some light on the negatives - Our body still hasn't evolved properly to eat meat, there's a reason we have to cook chicken and pork until there isn't a speck of blood in sight and then smear it in spices, salt and flavourings to make it taste nice for us. Whereas a lion, a true carnivore, can eat skin and raw freshly killed meat like it's nothing. If you tried to do that you'd get ill very quickly, and probably die if that was your only diet. I'd personally define us as omnivores in the sense that we 'like' to eat meat and have found a way to do so through intellectual advancement. However, the way we go about eating meat isn't natural to every other carnivore in existence and in preexistence, our digestive system is far much closer to how a herbivores would operate in the grand scheme of things. Meat can be a good choice because you're effectively eating everything good inside an animal - all it's protein, iron etc. But there are plenty of other ways to get those things - protein in: eggs, beans, cheese, yoghurt, nuts. IDK what you meant by humans needing meat, you're not putting yourself on 1 year death row by becoming veg lol. There's also been countless studies conducted demonstrating a link with increased consumption of red meat (beef+lamb) and an increased chance of developing bowel cancer. http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Goodfood/Pages/red-meat.aspx When people talk about meat being bad for you it's red meat - chicken and salmon are probably okay, but it's always good to get your essentials from different foods for the best possible diet. It'd be healthier overall to have chicken 4x a week and then veg 3x a week than chicken 7x a week for sure. tl;dr - We aren't natural omnivores, red meat isn't good for you, don't need meat to live.

    Homosexuality

Lul. Can't imagine this going well. I'll give my true thoughts: 1) I honestly don't have many problems with it, regardless what my personality is here I like to think I'm quite empathetic and considerate irl. I don't mind two gay people getting married or being together. 2) BUT - I will look twice and be more like WAT if I see two guys kissing in a club or even walking down the street holding hands. That may just be a rarity thing rather than the actual concept itself though. 3) Although I'm fine with thinking about marriage/relationships I don't like / think it's normal two guys having sex, again to counter though, may just be the fact that I'm straight and it's not my cuppa tea. 4) It's inescapable that it's a peculiar thing. If you look at the animal kingdom - although you may see some homosexual activity, it's usually just an assertive/dominating display. Very rare or even proven?? That animals have homosexual relationships. The animal kingdom works through reproduction - if everything and everybody turned gay, then everything would die out. It's something that's specific to humans and therefore always questionable. Same shit with vegeterian, people free to do what they want at the end of the day. But as much as some people may say it's absolutely fine, I think there's only so far you can support something while you're the complete opposite of it. TUNE

  5. Monthly Awards -These could be removed after a month from the persons profile, or stay with a date reminder - e.g June 2016. Depends how clustered you think it'd get. If you only decided to institute one of the below, it'd only be 12 awards a year, ideally spread out over several people. If you didn't want to keep these awards visible each year they could either be removed from immediate visibility and placed on the players profile - possible? Or change them to a half yearly thing. Member of the month - Speaks for itself Moderator of the month - " " Forumer of the month - Hopefully would encourage enlightening threads and increased activity. Could be due to a popular thread, a good suggestion or just purely a mad amount of helpful forum activity. Prison Breaker of the month - Doesn't have to be most hours, can be taken many ways. A new member fitting in, exceptional rebelling, good mod decisions, helping new players, innovative wardening. Newbie of the month - Something for new players to strive for once entering the community, or after acceptance to membership. Unspecific Awards Subject to Opinion Lifetime Service - Given to recognise long term commitment to the community. Event Exceptionale v1 - An award to recognise event hosting contribution. Certain amount of events hosted, or other determinants. Event Exceptionale v2 - An award to recognise an individuals commitment to events. May have attended 10+ in a row, may be recognised by admins as always on time, always following commands, helping things consistently run smoothly over multiple events. Event of the year - Individual was part of a team who hosted the community-chosen event of the year Moderator of the year - Conor+Unseen short list to 3 people they think deserve the title. Community then votes for their preference. Initial phase allows for the legitimate candidates to have their deserved chance, not just the older, more community-popular ones. Best CS Frag movie of the year - We get a lot of these posted, perhaps another community vote after shortlisted by a non-biased, experienced bunch for the best youtube movie made by a community member. Other Awards 1 Year Membership - For 365 days of consistent membership, without dissenting into regular status. Could possibly do for 2-3 years. 1 Year Moderatorship - Same concept as above Donning Donator - Indicates a user who has donated a certain amount you deem worthy of recognition. Perhaps beyond the VIP usergroup quantity, as that already exists. Also easier to see as an immediate badge. Jailbreak King - An award for the most hours spent on Jailbreak over a (3 month OR 6 month OR 1 year period) 5+ 10+ 15+ Events Won - Up to you how far back you'd want to go to start counting winners, and would obviously continue, would be willing to help here. No sleep - Award given to the user who's spent the most minutes in a day on jailbreak. Easily done by gametracker, but maybe you can't distinguish between the idlespec hours and the actual active hours :/ I Gather I - Award given to the user with the most OB gathers on popflash in the last 31 days. Award doesn't change each month, stays until record is broken. Oldest Member - Individual is the oldest member in the community (age wise - not time spent in the community) Individual Event Winner - When an event is purely an individual one, that gets recognised as a badge. 'Individual won April 2018 Deathrun'. No recognition for team events, but they can contribute to the number of events won badge.

  9. Let me guess: 1) Some influential figure finds this game and proceeds to have everybody else purchase it. No? - Proceed to 2 2) This game is a highly anticipated new release, prompting everybody to purchase it. Yes? - Proceed to 3 3) Everybody is putting in mad hours into this new game. Yes? - Proceed to 4 4) Everybody playing this game has stopped playing CSGO, claiming this new game is 'so much better, and fuck that old CSGO game'. Yes? - Proceed to 5 5) Within either 2 weeks / 30 hours of gameplay, the game will be untouched forever more by the majority of these players with the exception of 1 or 2 guys who can't let go. Probable? Proceed to conclusion Conclusion - I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPEN BEFORE. JUST A COMPLETELY UNEDUCATED HYPOTHESIS.
