M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted April 14, 2016 It's happening soon, and the government are doing all they can to abuse their campaign agreements! £7 million budget for each side (IN/OUT). The IN side has spent £9.3 on a leaflet from taxpayers' money... The OUT side has a maximum budget of that £7 million however they are getting it from donations only. Discuss. Jak 1,381 Posted April 14, 2016 I'd rather the in side spent double that, triple that, as long as in wins. The pros don't just outweigh the cons, they fucking bury them. /Thread Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted April 14, 2016 What are you scared of? We will still trade with Europe, we will be able to trade with the world without their restrictions. We will still cooperate with Europe, liaising with them on security issues. People said that the UK would miss out and lag behind when we opted not to have the Euro as our currency, we didn't. In fact our growth continued and that is why the GBP is still stronger than the Euro. The EU is run by a bunch of under-qualified bureaucrats who are self elected by the EU commission. We did not vote them in, even if all of the UK MEPs voted them out, it wouldn't happen. The UK is a big player in the EU but has very little power within it. 75% of our laws are made by the EU, the recent changes to our environmental rules means that we are unable to fish for bass around our own waters. That is just one example of a backhanded deal that the UK is not able to change. Nation states working together with trade is what I think will be best for Britain. We do not need a political union, we are able to govern our own country as we have done for hundreds of years before that. The original view for the EU is massively skewed from what people voted for 40 years ago. It was a trade deal, not a political deal. By voting out, you make progress to restore the original agreement that we wanted with the EU. Quote Share this post Link to post

Jak 1,381 Posted April 14, 2016 Mintlou the entire reason I have you blocked on ts is because debating politics with you is akin to gently caressing my dick with a sharp bread knife. So just no, I'm out. 1 The Untainted One reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post

Fluxy 1,660 Posted April 15, 2016 Yeah I would be more inclined to hear Mintlou's point of view if; over the years he hadn't confirmed, over and over again, that he is in fact, a massive racist. 1 Allen Snider reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
