INTRODUCING MYSELF

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I am Samantha, also known as Tigrez, Queen LaQueefa... etc. Often change my name to avoid being targeted. Anyway, I'm 21 from the North East! Despite what you may have heard, i'm actually quite nice. I've played on the Outbreak server for probably about 5 months now, but I never took notice so I can't exactly give an accurate timeframe.

I work in digital marketing, recently promoted and I now have people under me, which is scary but refreshing at the same time. Mostly i'm a copywriter, writing for websites - blogs, landing pages and stuff - but I also delve into things like social media, outreach and such. My workplace gives me as many paid holidays as I like, flexitime and the ability to work from home - so if I'm on during the day, that's probably why. Didn't go to university - its still somewhat on the table, but I like working, so probably part time if I did. Plus, I have zero debts (unless you count the payments I give to my dad for my car, but that's family) so win! The fees switched from £3k to £9k for university the year I should have started, so I was like 'fuck that' and started working instead. Of course, a few months of unemployment and low self-worth ensued, but it worked out in the end.

I've been playing games all my life, mixed between consoles and PC gaming. I used to play a lot of Star Trek FPS shooters on the PC, Sims (of course), Theme Hospital, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Halo 2 and Lara Croft. I had a PS1 and played things like Driver, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Abe's Oddysee and others. Then I switched to the PS2 and I really only remember playing GTA:SA and Vice City (I also had these on PC) but i'm sure I played other games too. Following this came the Xbox 360 - Halo 3, Call of Duty and that kind of stuff. Of course, I had handhelds when I was younger too, still remember the Christmas of '99 or something where I FINALLY got a Gameboy colour! Pokémon for daysss, and other handhelds (Gameboy Advanced?). Now i'm purely PC and I play pretty much anything, mostly CS:GO at the moment because there's no storyline, so it's quick games.

I drive a BMW, but I don't drive like a twat. I have a cat (mow) who is a dickhead but also my best friend, and I used to have a dog named after Spyro. He was a lovely scruffy little terrier that I rescued in 2010 for a mere £30 from a local shelter. As a stray, we had no background knowledge of him, and the vet predicted he was around 6-10 when he got him. Despite his background (he showed signs of coming from abuse) all he wanted was a good kiss and a cuddle (big poof). Had to put him to sleep in June as he had gotten old and his back legs had pretty much gone, so he could have been anywhere from 10 to 15 years old. He had a good 5 years with us, though, and I'm pretty sure the cat misses him. Got the Christmas decorations out and he had this tie he used to wear at Christmas. The cat took it and slept with it for a bit, teared me up. As much as he pretended, he loooooved the doggy. In my spare time, I volunteer at my local RSPCA helping with upkeep, socialisation etc. I studied a national diploma in Animal Management alongside my A levels in college, so I help a lot with behavioural stuff.

Before joining Outbreak, I was admin at another community (

- i'm sure if you look through the videos you'll find one of my voice, but i'm not going to share that lmao) for two years. I was one of the highest ranking and I helped advertise the server and dealt with the shop, social media, the internal player help system, major events like christmas, design etc. It helped me build my interest in marketing, which has helped me in real life too, got paid a bit as well. We got most of our money from SA:MP (at one point it was like $120k per year, absolutely crazy) but also did games like Minecraft and stoof.

Musically, I love rock, classic rock, metal and things like that, but I've also seen McBusted 3 times in the space of a year. I have tickets to see BUSTED WITH CHARLIE SIMPSON IN IT FOR NEXT YEAR! How exciting. If anyone's ever heard of Download festival, I've been every year since 2006 (yes I was like 11...), and I also go to Leeds festival pretty much when Metallica are there (2008 and 2015, but I kind of fancy the RHCP next year... so I may be persuaded). Went to Sonisphere in 2011(?) to see the big four as well. Amazing.

Anything else, just ask...

Sam
