Jamie 2,319 Posted October 16, 2013 Recently I've had a few people ask me what crosshair and settings I use for CS. I'll post both my CSS and CSGO settings here. Feel free to share your own too. CSS Xhair: CSGO Xhair: They are both exactly the same as I like to keep consistency throughout both games as I play both frequently. A small crosshair with no spreadscale (the gap in the middle) is really nice as this helps with headshots and the crosshair doesn't take up alot of your view (i find this to be the case when watching small gaps). Purple is also a great colour especially for a small crosshair like this because it doesn't clash with bright or dark backgrounds. At the end of the day crosshair styles are just purely preference so use what size/colour you feel best with. Another thing about the 0 spreadscale on CSS, this stops the crosshair changing size when switching weapons which I absolutely love. I'll post my cfg and settings tomorrow with explanations for whoever asked as right now im v tired. Quote Share this post Link to post

Jak 1,381 Posted October 17, 2013 I actually have pretty much exactly the same crosshair on both games, but I have more transparency (lesser alpha value) and I have a centre dot. Mine are slightly more red than yours but not by much. Also, because I don't live in the early 2000s, I have a widescreen ratio. Try using these settings: cl_radar_always_centered 0 cl_radar_scale 0.3 for your CS:GO radar, you'll see much more and it'll stay in the middle so you don't have all that wasted black space when you're at the edges of a map. Jamie 2,319 Posted October 17, 2013 i use 0.5 radar for csgo, i hate having it super zoomed out and still lets me see most, if not all, of the map. Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted December 15, 2013 Use this site to generate one: http://www.krisskarbo.com/csgocrosshair ... ine_draw=0 really good site and so easy to use. Quote Share this post Link to post
Skeff 289 Posted December 17, 2013 A while back i heard small crosshairs were good, so i made mine small Quote Share this post Link to post
Jak 1,381 Posted December 17, 2013 Try: bind a +moveleft; cl_righthand 0 bind d +moveright; cl_righthand 1 It should make your weapon swap sides when you strafe (corner peek) so you can get a better angle. edit: It's "+moveleft" not "+strafeleft"... Quote Share this post Link to post
Shadow 0 Posted July 26, 2014 bumping this, I'm tired of my red dot on the screen. Can I get the settings some of you use? or do the ones in previous posts still apply? Quote Share this post Link to post
System 32 2 Posted August 20, 2015 Or you can make a crosshair using crash's crosshair generator v2. Quote Share this post Link to post
