  1. People do computing/coding and some just want to learn more sometimes. This is not just for those who can already code. But also for those who want to learn. In addition to what i've said above, such sections can potentially benefit the quality of the website, and the Quality of any other application/plugin.
  2. Hello everyone, I had already suggested a little SnQ not too long ago, and people loved it! The action of someone just looking at your work and helping you make it better is fantastic! It makes the consumer happy and will make sure that the creator will produce higher quality content later on. My newest suggestion is: a Programming/Coding Section on the forums. Here are some great benefits that i believe the community will receive from this: People able to share code - Help each other out Sharing/help of plugins and web projects Sharing/help of advanced algorithms and unique ideas It's going to be a collection of Fun and Educational material which everyone will benefit from These are going to be real-life problems - which will engage and make people think (For those who find it difficult to work with theoretical problems) This section will engage some of the more technical minds, where maybe they will argue about what is the best way of encrypting :) Once again, it's just a short list of benefits of having such section. And it wouldn't be lost in a sea of irrelevant posts (as it would in the general chat section). Focusing on allowing people to share their creativity and inspire, especially in an ever growing community such sections are very important for interacting with more members; The more people that can get involved and can actually contribute in a helpful way, the better! Quick Example from another Forum: P.S I have included a little poll for you guys, show me (and everyone else) if you think this is a good idea or a bad idea! Thanks for reading <3
  3. Welcome!! Enjoy your stay <3 <3
  4. Here you go, and can any moderators please close this thread? Thank you.
  5. Thanks :3 I only noticed that after i had posted.
  6. Why would the IP's even be on the forums? It's a separate website, and I'm 100% sure that the website owner is smart. Anyhow, If you're interested in this type of stuff; please do try and find something - but report it to the Head Admins privately in advance :p
  7. You're a nice guy Heineken :) I see you quite often on OB and seen you a couple times on TS. Either way welcome :)
  8. I think I've seen you before daimantt, i wish you the best of luck <3
  9. Oh God! It's spreading faster than cancer!
  10. Welcome to this super awesome community :) Make sure you be nice and stay beautiful! <3
  11. For all you people wandering, i use assembly in order to optimize my applications, and to make sure that they run as efficiently as possible. Once i have thoroughly tested an application and have compiled it, i will take a look "inside" to see how the compiler has translated my code. And if there is something that is useless, or is just wasting the processor's time - i will fix it :P #The More you know
  12. Happy birthday to you!!!! <3 <3 <3

  14. I agree with Cereal and NotRJayy, but if you don't even expect to get member - you most likely won't get it. I guess you have to feel as if you're worthy of it and feel like a member. Other than that, you can be really cool , and i want to wish you the best of luck :) <3
  15. Website optimization / Speed Upgrade Hey there admins! I've researched the current OB Forums, (13/05/2016) and i noticed that the the JavaScript files and the CSS files are not cached! This makes the client re-download every single JS and CSS file (And some images which are static and will not change) on each page, which not only uses up more of your bandwidth, but also increases the loading time for the client - which is bad.. Additionally, please use CDN - Content Delivery Network (for the sake of those people who do not have a quick connection to the location that the host is located in). Below, are the results: But wouldn't it be annoying if i didn't suggest an easy way to do all of that? Luckily, cloud-flare is FREE! https://www.cloudflare.com/features-cdn/ And cloud-flare allows 3 different levels of caching, to adapt to your usage. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200168256-What-are-CloudFlare-s-caching-levels- And lastly, a very nice and efficient protection layer against DDOS attacks. In conclusion, Cloudflare will speed up your website, minimize the broadband usage on the website, enable people to connect quicker to the website, protect you against DDOS attacks and lastly the users will always be able to access the website, even if it is offline! Oh, and a 5-10Min set up is required! So if you were looking for ways to optimize the website, here's one! And if you're looking to harden the security of it, i could suggest installing a certain module into the website, and if you want to know more about it, just talk to me some time. https://www.cloudflare.com/a/sign-up Nice and easy - Thanks for reading, <3
