What is Vengi Square Chambers?
A barristers chambers for serving barristers in Outbreak Community and those who seek their services. Essentially a place for lawyers who work for you and your best interests. For more about barristers' chambers in general, read here to understand how it works.
EACH BARRISTER IS SELF-EMPLOYED. THIS IS NOT A COMPANY. THIS IS MERELY A SHARED OFFICE. MEMBERS OF VENGI SQUARE CHAMBERS CAN AND OFTEN WILL FACE EACH OTHER IN A COURT OF OUTBREAK.
What does a barrister do in Outbreak?
Do you say, "we was" in lieu of "we were"? If so, then we help people like you. We know how difficult it can be to articulate your argument succinctly and effectively, when you've just been banned for what feels like no reason. Let us do it for you. We might be drafting your unban request for you, or speaking on your behalf with administrators and admins. Many of our barristers have served as administrators or have extensive experience working with them, so we offer years of experience to put at your disposal, for whatever you need achieving.
How does it work?
You, as the client, select someone from the Bar Register below, and contact the individual, detailing what assistance you need. Once they accept your case, it is their obligation to secure the best possible outcome for you, either through drafting your unban (you must post it, to comply with the letter of OB law), to speaking with moderators and administrators on your behalf, to simply drafting posts for you in a concise and eloquent fashion. Really, it is up to you and your barrister to decide the extent of their duties in your working relationship, as well as fees and payment.
What if I am a corporate [OB staff] client?
We also serve corporate clients. Any member of staff can hire us, provided they pay the fees. We are happy to represent you in defence against unban requests against you or a member of your staff. Announcements regarding changes in legislation can be incendiary, provoking bad press and backlash against the administrative staff - with the expertise of our barristers, you can rest assured that your announcement will be drafted professionally, eloquently and with a water-tight argument. The fee is negotiable solely at the individual barrister.

Venga, OC

A specialist in unban requests and administration negotiations, Venga has dealt with numerous unban requests. He was also the orchestrator of one of the most perverse twists of justice in Outbreak history, when Mintlou was unfairly banned. He has proven himself an effective sophist and will twist words in order to achieve a fair outcome for you. He has a strong track record in passing controversial legislation in a challenging legal environment. He has collaborated with Lewis on certain complex cases. He works as a hobbyist, so is happy to work for one-rep per post, with additional work negotiable.
Jamie, Pupil

Jamie is currently undertaking his pupillage with Venga, due to lack of experience. Previously worked in the corporate world, now in the world of law. Experienced in employment law and employer-employee disputes. Looking to cut his teeth as a barrister. He and Venga will collaborate on all cases. He was selected for his potential.

An incredibly dedicated and professional individual. Having experienced multiple bans and punishments himself he is adept at recognising petty faults and short falls in the due process of punishment enacted by the lowest moderators and highest of admins. His mastery of ad hominem allows him to blindside any opposition. Willing to work for around two rep flat fee per request, with additional fees negotiable for more complex cases.
Lewis, OC

An expert in turning cases on their head through a nuanced interpretation of particular legislation. Famous for overturning the entirely justified Tweep ban, against admins' better judgement. Has defended his own bans before, and has collaborated with Venga on more complex cases. Thoroughly dedicated individual who is always eager to challenge injustice. Fees very competitive, one rep flat fee.

The only man within the Square Chambers who truly understands your issue. Able to play both sides of the legislative fence due to previous moderation experience, where he tutored inexperienced administrative staff and owners, alongside being sourced for freelance work on Outbreak's official forums and voice communication platform. Due to this, he is very well respected within, and outside the organisation. Also offers coaching in decorum. Fees purely available upon request.
Hey Mintlou,
Congratulations, you have been put on a week trial. However we do want to make it clear that after this opportunity at membership there will not be another should we put in a situation where your membership is removed, though we are sure it will not ever come to that. Message an admin to be invited to the trial group and we encourage the usual activity within the community during this time.
Good luck,
The OB Staff
The above post also relates to Jaydog, shock horror.
He's too old to sit at home and play Lego so he chose to become a scaffolder instead.
Hope you fall off it and become paralysed, then you can spend all your time on Outbreak continuing to do a mediocre job as moderator.
JayDog, where do I begin? You actually have reasonable opinions which you stick to and defend vigorously, which is a positive quality to have. I don't always 100% agree with you on everything but I genuinely believe you do have people's best interests at heart, and that you do things for the right reasons. You're a fair mod, even if you are eyes, and I like how you complimented me on my disney picture thing. That was a nice thing to do and it adds to my positive impression of you overall. I also know that when I next apply for member that you'll pour honey in conor's ear, and because of that, you're my favourite moderator. I also like that you have a truck. Trucks are cool.
Hi guys, give me rep for this post and I'll say something very nice about you. The compliment will be at least three lines long. :) :) :)
EDIT: OUT OF STOCK FOR COMPLIMENTS - WE NEED TO GET AN EMERGENCY PRODUCTION RUN TO FULFIL EXISTING ORDERS BUT NO MORE NEW ORDERS WILL BE FULFILLED UNTIL YOU ARE NOTIFIED OTHERWISE.
I do think there are loads of pretty cool features that will take some time to get used too. I have to say Im not too keen on the member reputations and stuff, I think it will be abused. Also, the mobile browsing is not a fun one, at least I find anyway.
Another thing that mintlou mentioned and I totally agree, when browsing topics there is far far far too much space in the middle of the screen. It looks like it was designed for this guy
Also, I feel that the forums are too wide. Too much space in the middle. Websites often get around that by narrowing the body of the page, leaving more background space. Look at this http://www.hotukdeals.com/ for an example of what I mean.
