For someone to lead this community they will need passion above anything else. If someone is passionate about running a community, seeing it grow and making decisions then as long as they aren’t working 60hours a week the time will be made to run it. As long as you have basic social skills and decent judgement along with a passion in building it up then you are able to run OB. My question to Conor is this: do YOU honestly still have the passion to run this community or are you hanging on because you don’t want to let go of something which you have run for years now? If the answer is a clear yes to the former, then brilliant but any second guessing yourself you should probably explore other options. Regardless, what is abundantly clear that you need is an equal, a second owner who is on the same level as you - 50/50. Someone with a passion to see the community succeed. No bs like ‘head-admin’ who ghostwrites posts but someone who will run the community management side of things while you work on tech (which from experience working with you, you are brilliant at). Don’t feel the need to limit yourself to your current staff team as there are plenty of people with experience in community management still out there. Food for thought for you.

I do not want this to seem like i am attacking you guys, but this honestly made me slightly wince. So you're saying you spent months working on a server (which by the way, has failed countless times to bring in new players) which you then scrapped to a pure vanilla server with no plugins which undone months of 'work' for this to only "be an idea"? These past few months have been unacceptable. We appreciate the post and we appreciate ideas are low but this is just... WTF?! The lack of ideas isn't an excuse for going quiet with no communication though, face it if there was nothing kicking off publicly would you have even made this post? On a more positive note, thank you for adding the shoutbox back finally and please feel the need to deal with people who break it's rules. Let's hope it allows for more global interaction! I have been thinking of having golf it community nights on the weekends to get some of you interacted with the scary OG's if anyone was down for that also. Once again thank you for the update to what has quite frankly been an embarrassing few months. Let's hope the future is brighter.

Serious post time. Perhaps making a strawpoll for this wasn't the best idea (tunnelbears, 4g on phones, rigged votes etc). However we can clearly see we are at a standstill in the community and have been for several months. The only person who has been silent in all of this is Conor - we don't know his plans for the future, his views or what he simply wants to happen. As funny as it sounds and yes it's an absolutely hilarious concept, he is not some usurper in Game of Thrones who is hogging the throne and needs to be booted off by some warrior who has slain 3 giants and fucked hundreds of women with a 10 inch cock. Wist is absolutely spot on with the plan thing however we NEED to hear from Conor first before any kind of plan for change comes about. Conor, don't go silent here and sweep this one under the carpet as this will not go away at this stage - let us know your thoughts and I will happily post what I think should come about. Sooner rather than later though, please.

Come on.. People have their whatsapps, discords, teamspeak channels. Bring the community together with one unified chatbox. There is absolutely no reason to not add it back at this stage lol. Discord isn't gonna bring community together lol. Having a combined interest (back in the day, jailbreak) will. I can understand the global chat thing, but do what you should of done ages ago and bring shoutbox back to the FRONT PAGE. This will keep forums healthy and active and still have some degree of global community interaction. Let's say Discord goes ahead and EVERYONE moves over, no seperate TS or anything. People will still veer off into different rooms because we all enjoy certain company over voice chat, some people don't feel like hanging out with people way younger than them but others do, that's their choice. Like Jak said in a thread a while back, it's like being good mates going for a drink at your local pub.
