CS:GO Paintball

Hello my fellow Outbreak members. Last night Chris, Venga and I stumbled upon a new game mode which works surprisingly well. Paintball. It's tactical and therapeutic in execution; armed with an MP7 and a Glock, you fire tasty little 3D paintballs which visibly glide through the air towards their target. If you hit a player they're gone in one hit, you have to time the shots as the travel time is quite slow. If you miss a player, your mistakes are showcased by a splat on the wall.

This looks so much better than some paintball mods people have tried in the past however I've yet to try it.

It's definitely far from perfect skeff but it is a laugh with a few people.

I have tried a paintball server myself and must admit that I highly enjoyd it.

There is no real stress as there sometimes is when playing MM or just to many tryhards as in casual.

Would love to see indeed a server grow out of this

Hello! 

As I'm current developer of this gamemode, I wanted to know what you don't like right now about the gamemode or what would add to it, change, to make it better? New classes, weapons or maybe make this together with CTF? I will try to respond to all ideas, suggestions, and the better ones will be included in gamemode.

Holy shit, hi man. 

Welcome to the humble forums. :P The game mode is overall really great fun, perfect chill-out.

One thing I've noticed is the delay when the paintballs leave the gun - it really encourages people to camp corners and spray. The speed at which the paintballs move is fine (imo), but the delay can be a little frustrating. There are also some hitbox issues, where hits don't register.

Overall though, it's great fun. Cheers for making it. :)
