Allow +repper of week right to post in news section

Hi all,

 

As I'm sure everyone is aware, Unseen gets to post something in the news section once in a while and get a guaranteed 17 or so likes.

I was wondering, as a way of incentivising OB community members to contribute positively to the forums, if the top repper of the week was given the right to make a single post in the news section on his/her winning week.

It would basically be a rep prize. And it would encourage us to post constructive, helpful and not at all contrived content like this.

Don't see how making a competition to see who will get more REP in a week would stop people from Repfarming.

Surely it'd only increase it.

Correct. The rep IS FOR THE PEOPLE. We are only giving back.

 

This is a fantastic suggestion, i also think we should allow the +rep'd of the month access to exquisite admin content so that we can 'squeeze the sponge' a bit more by leaking it TO THE PEOPLE.
