Fluxy 1,660 Posted June 12, 2015 So just out of interest what is everyones favourite original soundtracks to either a movie or a game? And maybe why? Also please by original, no Star Wars or Lord of the rings please! I'll start. So I have a couple of favourite OSTs first of which being the Interseteller main theme http://youtu.be/UDVtMYqUAyw (I'm on my phone so will fix YT links when I get home) Interseteller blew my fucking mind and as a complimenting soundtrack I think it does wonders for the film Secondly for me would the borderlands 2 OST http://youtu.be/88YdCmTS3lw. BL2 being one of my all time favourite games. I loved the feel and aesthetic of the game and the soundtracks twangy "howdy there partner" vibes were really emersive. Thirdly and lastly is the Flat Out2 soundtrack, played the fuck out of that game when I was young and when I got my first iPod the whole soundtrack was the first to go on. Pure nostalgia http://youtu.be/GAdnjWrh_IE Quote Share this post Link to post

Stiqqy 592 Posted June 12, 2015 My first has to go to the original soundtrack, i loved playing the game and the music was so perfect and made the game more enjoyable, My favorite part of this soundtrack is the metropolis levels, My second choice is the music for the PS1, the game was very fun to play and still is one of my favorite 'racing' games today, the soundtrack was very enjoyable when playing and every maps song was perfect, the main menu music is probably my favorite of all time lol. The last has to go to the soundtrack, was very good and most of the songs on this soundtrack was very good, Very fun game also,CLOSE CALLS: Spyro 2: Riptos rage Quote Share this post Link to post

It's not in the video but I loved this game also and would disabled all other songs in the options :lol:If I had to pick an original game soundtrack I'd pick Specifically this one from it: Quote Share this post Link to post

Scrobbesbyrig 422 Posted June 12, 2015 I like OST's that make me feel like Horatio Nelson or Bernard Montgomery. But, I also like "Desperate" Soundtracks, which is around 95% of Bloodbornes OST's This is generally my favourite. And though I hate to admit it, some Anime Instrumental OST's are fucking amazing, if they didn't have "Anime" slapped on them, they would probably be used in movies, one example is Attack on Titan's Chaotic sounding OST's (for the most part). This one is pretty good. But for a movie, Im going to say Daybreakers (Vampire Movie, but a fucking slick twist on it) OST is not that bad, even though its lacking in a lot of places.
