Quinn 643 Posted July 21, 2014 In the effort to sell my Asiimov a prominent offer came from a gentleman named "CatDog" asking me to go to "csgouloonge.com" after some short investigation I found that his profile was private, this brought suspicion to the forefront of my brain, but with good hopes in mind I soldiered on. After a more careful analysis of his welcoming message I concluded that this was a petty endevour to rob me of my oh so precious steam account. Don't fall for this: Also would anyone care to buy my Asiimov? Quote Share this post Link to post
Dave 2 Posted July 21, 2014 This happens all the time. If anyone sends you a link while trading and you don't 100% know its legit, its almost always going to be a scam. Also I put in an offer of a tin of tuna for your Asiimov. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jamie 2,319 Posted July 21, 2014 i love how they start with "hey mate" to lead you into a false sense of security Quote Share this post Link to post
Biggles 44 Posted July 21, 2014 I love how the bots are still using the 2006 MSN term "heya" as if its still relevant Quote Share this post Link to post

Biggles 44 Posted July 21, 2014 HE HAVE STEAM LAGGED! But seriously if you want to see if they're a bot before adding, hover over their display picture icon and it'll show a low Steam Rank, and they also don't own the game. Quote Share this post Link to post

Dave 2 Posted July 22, 2014 Chris, have you used TF2Outpost yet? It does tf2, cs:go, dota 2 and its pretty reliable in my eyes. I can't promise you won't get scammers and some people are retarded when they post their prices, but you can usually find a legitimate trader with a good offer. Quote Share this post Link to post
