Team Fortress 2 server

eeeeey guys, so as the announcement thread by Gaz mentioned, we'll be launching a Team Fortress 2 server (jointly financed by me and tiny)

so basically,

I want your opinions to the following statements:

24-slot or 28-slot? (no 32, sorry, too many)

maps?

24/7 2fort or double cross

rotation of classic maps? goldrush, well, hydro etcetc (This will include rotation of gamemodes too, such as capture the flag, control points and cart)

bit of everything? all mixed in, lovely mixing bowl mmmmmmmmm

In regrads to plug ins:

premium is straight out (cannot stand this legal cheating in exchange for money)

feel free to comment on your opinions and ideas etcetc.

I'm away tomorrow (going to portsmouth, eeaauuauay) but will probably be purchasing the server thursday morning.

dont do the mixing bowl. It will struggle.

get radio, and !hop, and server ads

Go for 24 slots in the beginning, until it starts to fill up for long periods. Then get expanding on server slots.

The smaller the server the easier to fill up, if a server has 14 players on a 20 slot server. The server seems full.

If a server has 14 people on and it is a 40 slot server, it seems really empty.

From my expierence this really does matter.

I think 24 slot is the best, not too crowded and cheaper.

Play the medium-sized maps for 24 people :)

We're most likely looking at rotation, but of very small maps. 2fort/Double cross maybe, since they're fun and easy to populate. We'll see. Thanks for the input everyone C:

from what people are saying a 24 slot would work

also map wise, i generally enjoy most maps but when i play TF2 i play 1 map constantly then another - so i can master it

Used to play alot of capture the intel,

then i went on to payload race

currently i enjoy defend/attack
