i wondered what is the best thing to set for your aim.

A crosshair, or dot ?

I now play with an dot, and i love it but i dont know if i would be any better with an crosshair.

Where do you guys play with ?

It is from person to person what they feel like. Some like dynamic crossair, some none dynamic and some just a dot.

It's personal preference, like sensitivity as well. Differs from people.

I use a static blue crosshair, blue because it seems to be the least clashing with the environment

Yes it is purely preference, however it is highly advisable to use a crosshair (you can even add a dot onto it aswell if you wish).

I use a green cross-hair (as this is the colour I have been customed to since i started CS. Changing it too much makes u inconsistent. I increased the thickness to 0.75, size of 2.5 and my mouse sens is 2.5 ingame and 400dpi.

Also you might wanna use a static crosshair (or at least static when ur moving) to avoid the annoying distacting expanding off the crosshair.
