I looked away for a day to do an essay (5449 word count-get in.) and this blew up a tad o.o didn't realise we had such a variety of work fields. Viva la paperback, viva la bookstores!

The distance thing is alright for me if i tag along for a call out, joys of being an apprentice is i only have to assist for now, it's alright as i sort of pitch in where i can for the time being, i am signed up to learn how to do some forms of programming on some of the controllers we use so its taking a different turn for me which will be interesting. More technical than a sparky, but still a hard days graft. Although sparkys kind of just get pointed at what to do and don't generally think twice about what they are doing. but i respect them all the same :P "most" work hard for their money. Most trade jobs will include travelling though, maybe find an apprenticeship that only does local jobs? Minimal traveling? If you want 0% traveling then it's either retail or an office job.

Title kind of says it all, i'm just curious what everyone does for a living :) Occupation: Electrical engineering apprentice i finish my apprenticeship in a few weeks, I'm currently employed for a HVAC & BMS (Building managements systems) company. i basically build these sort of things . I absolutely love it, don't get me wrong its stressful and a hell of lot of deadlines, but i'm always learning and slowly getting better. So yeah, What do you do for a living?

Dire straits <3 For me its between my first metal gig seeing slipknot and machine head. Where everyone was going mental, it was just a good gig with a load of friends.
