Can't connec to 5g network

So my pc only connects to 2ghz, even though my router sends out 5ghz of data.

my adapter is a wn111v2

please help

(i checked on the internet but nothing worked)

The way you've written this looks like you think your internet isn't as fast because it doesn't use all 5 Ghz.

That's not how it works, that's the frequency it uses, like radio stations.

What you do is you buy an ethernet cable, and stop being a pleb that uses wireless for gaming.
