Gaming PC

I want to build my self a decent tower that will basically run any current game on full graphics, i don't really wanna spend much more than £800 on just the tower, but will £800 get me a decent tower that will last a couple of years and then easily up-gradable?

If anyone can give me any information on which way to go about this, because i know there are Ebay shops that sell computers, or am i better getting separate parts and building it myself, i have built 2 PC's in the past, i know how to put them together, but im just not that clued up on parts that work best with other parts, any help would be great, thanks x

Well...I have a small build which costs no more than £400/£500 ... it runs everything smoothly and my friend got it

I have a mate who's a serious pro-neckbeard (puts my metaphorical neckbeard [not literal one] to shame), and after I'd picked those parts, he gave the go-ahead. If you want, chat via Steamchat for more indepth conversation on it, if it helps?

But yes, it's v. good. Not as pro as Tiny's, but Tiny and money have a very "easy-come, easy-spend" relationship. ;)

Haha, i would love to spend more, but I have a mortgage to pay for and bills, so a half decent budget will have to do. Yeh we will have a proper chat about it closer to time I'm gona buy, pretty much as soon as I've paid my holiday off, which is end of next month. Depending on if go ahead with my tattoo booking aswel

Just compare on the internet.

Get arouund 6Gb Ram. (DDR3 atleast)

Get a decent CPU Intel I5/I7 would be great.

Get an nVidea GPU one which fits within your budget (preferable one with at least 1GB integrated)

And jeezes, I can't say people enough that a good motherboard is important. Don't buy one below 80€ because it'll be shit most.propably...

People can have the best parts in there pc, but if your motherboard is shit then most likely your pc will be slow. Your motherboard has a chip (chipset) that one needs to be good.

My motherboard is shit :

> DCs from one of my monitors every now and then.

> Fucks my graphics card and processor over = 15 fps is good for me.

> Cuts of the direct route to my router = wireless net = ping over 9000!

> Other stuff which makes me cri in a corner.

So yeah...good motherboard pe el les.

Gaffer, My laptop cost 800ish. The gear in it is decent but if you were to buy them separately then it would cost much less so I think its exactly what your looking for. This being a laptop and made by a company obviously drives up the price past the components.

i7 intel processor

Nvidia 650M

8 GB DDR5 Ram

750 GB HDD
