Wist 376 Posted December 9, 2012 It's now due around 2013? I don't want to pay the like, 15.99 for combined ops in winter sales :< Quote Share this post Link to post
Jamie 2,319 Posted December 9, 2012 Depends how low it goes in winter sales, it may even goes to 70% off, who knows. Mine was 50% off. Although i initially bought it for arma 2 alone, I'm having some good fun on DayZ Quote Share this post Link to post
Fluxy 1,660 Posted December 9, 2012 Yeah sounds like you guys were having so much fun yesterday, in the hour or so you spent looking for each other and trying to figure out what town you were in and which way you were meant to be going Quote Share this post Link to post
Shadow 0 Posted December 10, 2012 A friend bought arma 2 for me so I could play it, I never did though. The game looked boring as fuck. Quote Share this post Link to post
Iszuka™ 10 Posted December 10, 2012 I dislike ArmAII in itself, but DayZ is bloody addictive. Quote Share this post Link to post
Tiny 16 Posted December 10, 2012 I'll install arma and DayZ again, it was fun but no-one played it when i did. Also i raged because newbs killing me :( Quote Share this post Link to post
Iszuka™ 10 Posted December 10, 2012 If you get killed then you're doing something wrong, just learn from it xD Get DayZ Commander, a free app that manages all the updates and gives you tonnes of filtering options when looking for a good server. It also allows maps other than Chenaurus. I've currently made it to the Airfield near Grishino; Carrying a DMR x7mags, PDW, tonnes of cans of food and drink, all the tools inc NVGs. I had a AS50 for a while but carrying it became a problem so i dumped it in favor of food and ammo. Now i just need a vehicle. I found a littlebird the other day, some guy was sat in it. When he saw me he jumped out and tried to fire at me but he hadn't reloaded. My gun, was fully loaded ^-^ The helo was completely red and would have taken ages to fix so i didn't bother. Took the guy's PDW ammo and some food. Quote Share this post Link to post

lord_semimaru 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Well the Arma/Dayz dev was arrested in Greece for "spying" so I'll guess it'll be a while Quote Share this post Link to post
Jamie 2,319 Posted December 10, 2012 No he wasn't. Those were bohemia devs, who as far as i know aren't working on DayZ with Rocket Quote Share this post Link to post
Iszuka™ 10 Posted December 10, 2012 Yeah as far as i know, Rocket is doing this solo. Quote Share this post Link to post
SGT.Olimar 0 Posted December 18, 2012 guys The War Z is released on steam now http://store.steampowered.com/app/226700?snr=1_41_4__42 Quote Share this post Link to post
McLovin 4 Posted December 18, 2012 WarZ is not the DayZ standalone. Quote Share this post Link to post
BubbaFlappies 0 Posted December 18, 2012 The warZ is prety far behind DayZ in terms of fun. Had a few friends tell me to wait for DayZ stand alone. Probably will to be totally honest. Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted December 18, 2012 Initially I got Arma II for DayZ, Played it a day or two and got bored. It took me about 45 mins to get into a bunker to find a gun on a airfield ; found an AK, then a guy shot be unconcious, I typed "FREINDLY" the fastest I coild, I think my fingers bled because of the speed. Amazingly he actually revived me, he invited me to his ts and took me on a walk. We went to the top of the highest hill where a car spawns but it wasn't there, we then walked down the hill and found a tent, we thought wuut daa faaq. It was a hackers tent, 3 AS50's and a shed load of ghillies, NV's and all. We then set a trap, in which 29 of us surrounded the tent, furthest guy was 600m away, 12 kept look out the rest ready to fire, about 20 mins in we hear a truck about 15m away, no one saw it, we were all about to open fire, when we did, we found out it was a hackers truck too! l0l, it was a good first day, but it got boring Quote Share this post Link to post
