You'll run out of town and get raped by a group of friends who like to gang up on 1 person because the same happens to them irl. No fun in that as I'm a solo player for a lot of games.

Nah, not a fan of MMORPG's. Chances are it'd just be a grindfest combined with 'fetch this for me' quests like almost every single other MMORPG ever.

The problem with MMO games is that they rely on grind for experience, in a shooter you get better by improving your skills at the game and become a better player. In an MMO you are rewarded for the length of time you play irregardless of how shit you are. So in the end game you just end up mashing buttons and whoever played longest for that new +2 weapon wins. Plus that whole grind to the end game + subscription fees.

In an Elder Scrolls Online game, there's going to be a spamfuck of "arrow to the knee" and "FUS-RO-DAH!" meme references from the players.

The only problem that i can see in this game that it may take the cost in a monthly subscription, which is the exact reason why some dont get other MMOs

They're implementing a system that allows you to fillter out people so you only see and interact with the people of your chosen 'type'

We will wait and see if it looks any good. The huge battle looks pretty intense though.
