Holy fuck, finally got it working. Just plugged in a 4 pin into the 8 pin slot to the right of the CPU. Thanks for all the help guys. Keep watching the thread for when I can't get my new CPU to work. :D Jokes, hope to see you all on the server tonight.

No red/green, just a white light on the graphics card. Here's the board naked That blue 8 pin on the right seems to me like it should be plugged in but it wasn't in the old case and nothing fits. About to attempt the board without a case and using a new hard drive, will keep updating and thanks again. EDIT: Just tried the same mobo and CPU, no case, different PSU, different GPU, no RAM, Dad's SSD, no results. My conclusion is that either the CPU or mobo is damaged. I'd rather not mount my new CPU to test it as if it turns out the mobo is the issue than getting the CPU off would be a bitch. Any thoughts on my course of action?

Cheers for all the replies and help guys and sorry I haven't been able to get onto the server (Especially during my trial :? ) I've even replaced the mobo speaker but no beeps. I've swapped out graphics cards as well as monitors and cables. I guess my next step is building it out of the case. If that doesn't work I'd be awful surprised if my motherboard wasn't fried.

Only thing that has changed is the case. No beeps, hard disk seems to spin up, no input rather than black. I've got no onboard graphics but I tried an old graphics card which made no different. Tried running with 1 stick of RAM, nothing. Tomorrow I think I'll just keep trying stuff until I have nothing else to try. I've an awful feeling it's the mobo and it somehow got harmed in transferring Thanks for the advice and here's my specs if they'll help. I'm still using my old CPU (decided I'd make sure everything was working in the new case first) so that shouldn't be the issue. Thanks for the info about the beeps, didn't know that and will check after Christmas Dinner :)

I'll keep this short and sweet. Got a new case and CPU today. Transferred everything (including the old CPU) to the new case but now when I boot there's no display. Tried swapping out monitor, graphics card and RAM, but to the same result. If you have any suggestions they'd be much appreciated as I have no clue what I've done wrong. Due to this it seems unrealistic I'll be on the server/ts today and at least not until I get this fixed tomorrow.

Just thought I'd post this here because doesn't really belong in the Away section. I'm getting a new CPU + Tower tomorrow which means I'll be rebuilding my whole PC. Depending on what problems I may or may not run up into I could be unable to get on the server but I'll do my best.

I'm very conscious of spamming over mic and talking over commander (Can't stand that :roll: ) and I tend to use text chat when talking about stuff unrelated to the round. I'd consider myself a friendly (but shy) person and I'm sorry if I haven't got a chance to talk to any of you yet. I'm hoping to bring my time, effort and loyalty to OB while hopefully leaving behind some smiles and memories for others :) Tell us a little something about yourself: I'd consider myself an all-rounder type of person. I love gaming, music, hiking, camping, going out, as well as doing stuff in my school SVP Society. (Such as our soup run for homeless people around Dublin city centre) I'm quite active in Scouts which can result in me going away for a few days at a time. I was very invested in a small Minecraft based community for about 4 years where I was a Senior Admin for most of the time. The majority of us grew out of the game and the server exists at 1/10 of what it once was but I occasionally pop my head in and see how people are doing. I really miss that sense of community where I could just message any of the other members and they'd come play with me. This is probably what has got me so hooked on OB, how much you guys play together and talk, with a handful of people not even playing JB anymore, rather using the site and TeamSpeak to just talk and have fun with friends.
