The final week. 1V1 Semi Final, ended by the Finals, today from 7PM. Danny vs Thunder, Simi vs Robert, Winner vs Winner. 5v5 Final Group match, Ur Nan 2.0 vs Luphas a Virgin, to determine the 2nd place winner in Group A will be played the following day on Wednesday 27th July. Ur Nan needing to win 16-10 or better, otherwise Luphas a Virgin will go through. 11 Rounds required for them no matter what. Semi Final 1, Simi's Sexual Healing Squad vs Group A 2nd Place, played on Thursday. Semi Final 2, The Tyre Slashers vs Krisstian Dragons Stiqqy Ikky Balls, played the following day on the Friday. To finish the tournament, the final BO3 of the 2 winning teams will battle for the trophy on the Saturday. May the best man and best team win. Good luck.

As a heads up, looking at the statistics for the last game of Ur Nan 2.0 vs Luphas a Virgin, LAV require 11 rounds on their team to go through, no matter what. If Ur Nan 2.0 win against LAV 16-10 or better, Ur Nan 2.0 will go through. All to play for in the last game :>

Went for a few changes in the end and decided to go for a single 1070 for the time being. May potentially go for a 1070 SLI in the future. 850W PSU incase that happens too and incase i go mental over a 3rd GPU. RAM went up by ~£20 when ordering so went for the Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB Kit. Ill stick to a 970 SLI and see how it does. Want to trial it out really tbh along as upgrade too. Birthday is in september so can just push towards a 1070 if the SLI isnt going well for me. Speed is the same (1600mhz) so thats fine. - Ive got space for a M.2 slot (which knocks out 2 of the 6GBPS SATA ports, but will only need 2 after). - Ill stick a 970 SLI for the time. I can upgrade to a single 1070 at any moment i guess and sell the 970s.

Rolling from that the top 2 teams from each group of the 5v5 groups will face off in a semi final and then a final to be ran to determine the winner, being ran along side the 1v1 tournament too. GLHF to all remaining in the 1v1 tournament and all members in your last group matches. Confirmed that COF will not get through group stages (sadface) but is still anyone's game for every other team.

Scrapped the BTC mining idea. after calculating hash rates, not worth in the slightest. Going to try a 970 SLI. If its not the best Im sure someone will trade up 2 used 970s to a 1070 with a bit of cash added ontop. Hi, I'm looking to do a couple PC Upgrades before i58 (end of august). Needing to upgrade from a 750 Ti but the case and board isn't the best, so they're needing an upgrade anyways. Current PC Parts: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ngK9JV - Cant tell if CPU cooler is correct / the type of CPU Cooler is attached. Not sure on RAM producer but it is DDR3-1600, 2x8GB sticks. Not sure on PSU make either, but is 500W. Looking for a new case. the 970 I got is causing the case to heat up, which isn't right in the slightest, and the PC requires some more cooling from it. I'm also looking for a new board too as the USBs tend to cut out for 5 seconds every so often, plus I'd like to get a 970 / 1070 SLI going. The top 2 are best for SLIs and whatnot else. I've not really researched much into this but would it be possible to have the top 2 slots on a 970 / 1070 SLI and have the bottom slot running an AMD graphics card? (no idea if possible, probably not possible). I know it wouldn't be "as quick" as the top 2 which is fine. - The MSI Z97-Gaming 5 is the borderline board i'm looking for, but ive seen the MSI Z97-Gaming 7 with more USB 3.0s. If anyone can suggest a board with 3 graphics slots and works for what I'm looking for above, then please suggest it to me. Looking for alot of USB slots, being a razer fan and all. EDIT: - Has anyone used a M.2 SSD before? I'm interested in getting a 128GB stick with an adapter to the board to fit one on and install my OS & CS on to it, then other important games / software on the SSD, then the rest on the HDD. This is this M.2 Card which (i hope) will fit in This adapter. Any recommendations for that to use for the OS over a SSD? Looking forward for your suggestions :>

what a complete shitpost. Ive seen custom built PCs on eBay for about £450 - £550. i7s, GTX 750, 4GB RAM and a SSD all custom built and looked quite sick. Give that a try, most come with warranty too.

Just going to post a few bits about the 5V5 Matches, mainly to the people who are in a team and will be competing in the tournament. All rules will be official competitive / ESL Competitive rules set. Main things to point our is: Time Per Round: 1 Minute 55 Seconds (mp_roundtime 1.92) Freeze Time: 12 Seconds (mp_freezetime 12) Bomb Time: 40 Seconds (mp_c4timer 40) Overtime Rounds: 3 Rounds Per Half (6 Total per OT) Overtime Cash: $10,000 Each Half (resets to $10,000 at HT) - You will still gain cash as normal at the end of the round. You will be allowed to have Technical pauses for issues like game crashes etc however, if the issue takes too long to resolve we will have to move on with the game. You also get ONE tactical pause lasting TWO minutes. (You can call a pause by any teammate doing !pause in the chat which is then engaged at the next freeze time). Any team using technical pauses as tactical pauses will suffer consequences to results or scores. - You can also !pause during the 1v1 tournament too for technical reasons (e.g. major lag spikes, reconnect required or reasonable issues). In case of any crashes, time outs or more, we can offer a "round reset" (which has been seen in Major competitions) by stopping the match and re-loading settings back to the previous round (which clears settings and data and then reloads it to the end of the previous round). We will explain how this works if the time is required for this to happen however. If there are any issues you are aware of for your match(s), please do message one of us (Myself, Gunstar or Substick) so we can deal with the situation with at least 24 hours notice. As mentioned before, non-showers will suffer consequences for the team & their self without a valid reason.
