If you have an NVIDIA card then for sure get Shadowplay. It's a beautiful tool that records in 1080p at a 1-5 minute delay (you can set it)

 

If you've got an AMD card, I did some quick searching and found a common program called Raptr. When I went on the Raptr site there was a big section for Plays.tv so I assume it's what you're already using.

download a cracked version of SonyVegas, there is this guy that uploads a good version every once in a while on TPB, I will let you know his name when I get home (if you want). Trackers are blocked at school, that's why I can't find his name atm.

Sony vegas is good software, although adobe premiere combined with after effects is cool too. Just look up what you think that suits best to you.
