Minecraft OB Server

The Minecraft Server is now up and running, we are currently just sorting out a couple plugins, and then it will be open for everyone to start playing!

Here are the instructions for getting all the mods needed for the server, don't worry it takes barely any time!

Minecraft Server IP: 185.38.148.32:25602

1. Install FTB Launcher and choose FTB Infinite 1.1.0

2. Click Install and run FTB Infinite for the first time until you reach the Minecraft screen.

3. Download the hexxit mod addition: http://www.mediafire.com/download/vw9zy ... xit+v1.rar

4. Close Minecraft and on the FTB launcher: click 'Edit Mod Pack' and then 'Open Folder'.

5. Drag EVERYTHING from the hexxit installment you downloaded and put it straight into this folder.

6. Play and abide by the rules, have fun!

Jesus christ no EMC. Surely it would make everything way too easy...

All of the hexxit mods (which includes tinkerer's construct). This combined with a few mods from infinity, as long as they don't conflict, would be perfect imo. Also we need to get some set rules together and put a bunch of signs at spawn.

Also thinking more of a community approach to this server, building a village, working together.

I'd be up for creating spawn in creative mode, everyone knows I love my "non-cheated" structures. However they tend to end up looking quite nice, even if I say so myself.

I enjoy mods that allow exploration like:

Better dungeons

biomes o plenty

mystcraft

But I also enjoy mod packs that allow you to grow things like:

Magical crops

Haven't played Minecraft in ages but I would definitely play on this server, I have no clue what mods there are now but I thought I'd just say I'm interested.

I do agree a community based approach would be cool tho
