Lewis 1,276 Posted January 19, 2015 How does this even happen? As far as I can tell - from multiple games now. If a team queues as 5 with spaced out ranks, csgo for some reason gathers 5 opponents who are the same rank as the highest player, so they would have been 4 silvers and a dmg for instance. I queued with my mg2 mate and 3 silver 1s, luckily one silver 1 couldnt connect so we didnt play - we were set to play 3 dmgs and 2 mges...... Meaning they had about +40 ranks on us... Happyface 0 Posted January 21, 2015 I wonder how the system works with the idea of them (the silvers) winning the game, would they rank up instantly? (I know the systems not that simple ;) but on average) and I'd take it that this game's results had nearly no effect on either player's rank due to the rank difference. If it did, then the high ranked team might have lost some elo for losing 1 round :P Quote Share this post Link to post
