Jak 1,381 Posted March 26, 2014 YouTube audio is 192kbs at highest quality, usually less. This means it's hideous. Quote Share this post Link to post
VENGA BUS 2,027 Posted March 26, 2014 Jack I'll have you know that the pixels are 1080 on the vevo video of Timber by Pitbull, so the quality cannot get any higher. Check and mate. Quote Share this post Link to post

Jak 1,381 Posted March 26, 2014 Double the post just means double the bullshit venga. And my 4K monitor scoffs at your lack of pixel power fagg0t. Quote Share this post Link to post
VENGA BUS 2,027 Posted March 26, 2014 I actually have an 8K monitor, so I had to post twice to get the full pixel power out of it. That, and I was distracted by Pitbull's sharp witted lyricism. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jak 1,381 Posted March 26, 2014 Don't expect me to be able to hear you on team speak when I get home tonight, mister. You've blown it. Quote Share this post Link to post
Dave 2 Posted March 26, 2014 Tbh I use youtube convertor and its no worse than getting it from Itunes and anyway I only ever listen to music for getting the train/walking places. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jak 1,381 Posted March 26, 2014 It is a lot worse, youtube has almost half the bitrate as itunes, which isn't even great quality anyway. itunes uses 320 for mp3 and 256 for aac which is still very lossy. But if you just listen to music like that you're right, it probably doesn't matter. Quote Share this post Link to post
Dave 2 Posted March 27, 2014 You're probably right but like I said I just listen to music as more of a distraction than anything else. Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted March 28, 2014 I'd say about 5 out of the 1200 songs I have are not 320kps. I have some FLAC, but I save that for the really good music. I never use YouTube downloader because that is what n00bs do. Why decipher the audio out of a video when you can specifically just obtain the audio elsewhere? So in FLAC I have some electronic music and Queen, obviously. It's good, no distortion whatsoever but yeah it takes up space and as FLAC isn't the norm you may find devices that do not play that format, which is why I also have MP3 copies of all of my FLAC stuff. VENGA BUS 2,027 Posted March 28, 2014 FLAC file of Queen sounds like something the CIA would use as part of psychological warfare methods at Guantanamo bay. Quote Share this post Link to post
