I had the urge to watch The Pianist again yesterday. Don't ask me why.

Such a brutal but fantastic film.

There's that one bit though that makes me crease up with laughter every time.

Adrien Brody was given a German officer uniform by a soldier and he wears it for a few weeks until Warsaw is liberated by Russia.

He runs into the street and hugs the first Russian he sees.

They all shout "GERMAN! GERMAN!" and start shooting at him.

As he runs off he shouts back "I'M POLISH! I'M POLISH!"

They take a good look at him and the Russians say "He IS polish! THEN WHY THE FUCKING COAT!?"

He replies with the saddest puppy dog eyes:

"am cold ;_;"

To be honest.

Most movies the day of today are friggin weak.

But their still are some good ones that are worth watching!

1) The revenant - Leo did win his oscar with this one! Only bad thing is it's so damn long! Some scenes could get shortened.. 7/10

2) The martian - Survival movie , one of the best! Good acting , nice scenses! 9.5/10

3) Deadpool - Funny movie , full of action! Good acting. Simply enjoyed it. 8.5/10

4) Shutter Island - Overall FANTASTIC movie! The whole movie is a mysterie for me , didn't even know what to think. 10/10 acting.

5) A Thousend Words - Magnificent! That is all to say. 10/10

6) Hachi - This is a CRY movie. I had to punch a wall to feel manly again! In al seriousness this is a MUST SEE movie! 11/10

Tons of other movies. I love movies.

Never heard of Hachi, i'll have to take a look.

As for The Martian, I watched that the other night and was thoroughly impressed.

I thought Shutter Island was pretty amazing right until the end.

I hate it when they end the film with a stupid plot twist like SPOILER: He's only dreaming/insane and everything is a lie.

Or: The whole film is secretly aliens so everything now makes sense.

I have yet to see Revenent. I've heard good things :)

I hate it aswell , but I had such good feeling with this.

Knowing as 90% of all movies nowadays are so predictable.

Then you have 'Shutter Island' where you THINK you have the clue but are totally wrong.

At first I thought that aswell .. and after the movie I googled it because I didn't understand what just happened.

Turned out to be a game. Still makes a good movie to me.

I agree with you on the movies you selected they were good.

Do you mind giving me a little bit more information about 'The big short'? That's the only one of the list i didn't get to see.

I've never watched a Hindi film before this and i was honestly pleasantly surprised.
