M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted October 22, 2013 What games did you play as a child? On what console did you play them? Post a picture of the cover image and explain why you liked them. If anyone had this, it was probably the best gamecube game out there, really really in depth long game that had a great cast of original characters and a great soundtrack. The ingame shopkeeper is a prime example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnSNXtTd53c Rugrats search for reptar was one of my earliest gaming memories, a brilliant game which involved you running around the house completing challenges, never completed it but I always liked that game. VENGA BUS 2,027 Posted October 23, 2013 (edited) Absolute beast of a game. Played the first two as well but Warped was my favourite. Best multiplayer ever. Plus monkey with dual miniguns was pro trell. Used to be fucking good at this, when I was like 8-9 years old. As you can tell from my scores in gathers, nothing's changed. What kinda douche didn't play Sonic? Was so keen for a bit of SC. I lived in Australia at the time so I was quite close to Korea, so half of the Australasian games' chat logs were filled with unreadable characters. GG keen Korea. Another golden classic. Incredibly boring and frustrating, but so engaging somehow. I would spend so long planning out my assault plans, just to have my hopes dashed... Basically Civ but I just preferred the setting. Plus barbarians didn't keep raping me in Alpha Centauri, so I didn't RQ after 40 minutes of playing. Just lulzy. Master-race of strategy. Got a lot of hate. Not from me though. Better than the first one, imo. Though the first one was obv a groundbreaker. Had the exact same box. And even had the poster. I was a swag 6 year old. Twist will be familiar with this bullshit. xoxo Justa beast of a game. Loved this. Fuk da haters. Couldn't find box image as so fucking old. MLG noscope game supir edgy technical spy thriller!!!!! Couldn't find the box cover of Deus Ex so I just settled for a picture of Biggles' mum. Enjoy. Plucky fucking dragon. Jesus I should stop now. I thought Shadow was keening out but this trip down nostalgia lane is too engrossing. Edited October 23, 2013 by Guest Quote Share this post Link to post
M1nt-l0u 1,235 Posted October 24, 2013 @ Shadow, nice list, I don't know how that guy could criticise Starfox that much, it's still a great game! Some PS1 games I played: Red Alert was one of the best games ever, I still play Red Alert 2 online sometimes, the music the originality and the endless sense of playability that game has is incredible.
