Most Epic Ban of All Time

Recommended Posts

After a player called "Lynett" makes incredibly racial remarks towards various members, Sholto bans him for 1 billion minutes.

I copied that number into the calculator program that comes with the OS.

So we have 1Bil minutes divided by 1440 minutes per day. That yielded a result of 69,4444.44444444444

days. Take that number and divide it by 365.25 days per year, and you get a result of

1901.285 years.

Congrats, Sholto. You just banned this guy for nearly two millenia.

Maybe in two millenia, we won't have any racism or prejudice in the world. I hope people will eventually mature as a society and not be so shallow minded. Personally I have never been effected by anything that someone has said to me; but I can understand why people can be upset by shallow minds/stupidity.

Good riddance is all we can say.

I would cry if I was banned for 1milliard minutes.

TBH I'd cry if I was banned for 1.

This isn't 1 Million, this is 1 BILLION!

I didnt say 1 Million, I said 1milliard, as in 1,000,000,000

1 BILLION! = 1,000,000,000,000

For those confused by Skeff:

Skeff is referring to the old numerical naming system, which worked in powers of a million, for example.

1 = (1,000,000)^0 One

1,000,000 = (1,000,000)^1 One Million

1,000,000,000,000 = (1,000,000)^2 One Billion

Which is pretty normal, because billion starts with "bi", bi meaning two, so common sense says one billion is a million to the power of two.

The new (Crappy) system:

1 = (1,000)^0 One

1,000 = (1,000)^1 One Thousand

1,000,000 = (1,000)^2 One Million

1,000,000,000 = (1,000)^3 One Billion

So in the new system one billion is one thousand to the power of three, which just doesn't make any sense to me, goddammit England, why did you have to change to this stupid ass system.#

The milliard is the name for the number 1,000,000,000 or a billion, but in the old system.
