LoL stands for league of legends which is a MOBA or Multiplayer online battle arena (i think anyway) basicly it is in an RTS style but you control one hero, its in teams of 5 I think and its all strategic n shit.

I didn't think anyone sane even played HoN any more. Dude, switch to dota 2. It's a straight upgrade graphically, and the game mechanics are nearly exactly the same.

i was just about to purchase lol glad i saw this :D

both lol and dota is Free too play, so if you want , it's no harm trying both. (Dota 2 is in beta still but beta access keys are all over the internets, including my inventory) atm I prefer dota 2 =)
