  1. Ladies and gentlemen, I have drawn the draw and we have a winner. Down to pure random chance, Wist has won the prize. I did the draw quite soon so that anyone who still particularly wants the game, or wants to pretend they won, has nearly a day left to buy it on the sale. Wist, I've added you. Just let me know when you want to collect your game.
  2. I'll draw it tonight I guess, gives people time to actually buy the game if they want it (game's still on sale until about 4pm tomorrow). Sometime around 8 I'll draw it.
  3. So I bought a copy of Witcher 2 for a friend who has mentioned several times before how it looks really good. Turns out he bought it himself too as soon as it went on sale, so I have a spare up for grabs! Anyone who doesn't already have the game and would like it, just put your steam name below and in a few days I'll use a random number generator-magigy to pick a winner. By the way, the game is bloody massive. 18gb of downloading fun. Good luck gentlemen.
  4. I didn't think anyone sane even played HoN any more. Dude, switch to dota 2. It's a straight upgrade graphically, and the game mechanics are nearly exactly the same.
  5. These aren't just any hats. These are unusual hats. Yeah the TF2 community takes hats way too seriously. *Looks away guiltily*
  6. Sure, I'll add you now. I will have a look at pricings for the hats myself, and let you know that I find (if anything noteworthy).
  7. Selling TF2 items for real money is a nightmare. I've been out of trading for quite a while, so I can't directly help with prices, but I probably can still be of some use. The number of scammers around is unbelievable. The stress of selling an expensive hat on its own, and risking losing the whole thing, was always too much for me. In my opinion the safest (although maybe not easiest) way of doing it is by breaking the hats down into individual buds and then selling these for slightly bellow standard market value to trusted traders. Not the best for making maximum money, but likely the safest. If you want to sell the hats themselves or individual buds to general traders (probably making more money), then always make sure they have a full Sourceop rep thread. Make sure the steam account of the person you are trading with is actually the person from the Sourceop thread. A very common and bad trick is to just make an imitation account. Most importantly, always make sure the other person sends their money first, with a paypal (or other service I guess) tag to the effect of "This transaction is for virtual goods. I will not charge back under any circumstances." This will make it much harder for them to just charge their money back through paypal, leaving you with nothing. In terms of pricing hats, websites like tf2outpost.com are good. On these you can just look at what other people are selling an identical hat to yours for, and decide accordingly on your price. If you have any questions feel free to add me and ask away :) Edit: In case you were curious about my experience, I was heavily into trading until about a year and a half ago, when I had a similar situation to you. Sold all my hats to replace a dying pc. Edit2: Apparently I fail at underlining.
  8. Barbecue beef super noodles. Beats that pot noodle rubbish any day.
  9. I got mine by doing that too about a year ago. Do you ever play it fluxy?
  10. I don't know, but steam just gave me one. It's happened a couple of times before, every few months. I guess they want more people in the beta. Go ahead and add me on steam if you want it :) My profile http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198010382018
  11. For anyone who doesn't know, dota 2 is a moba similar to LoL. As someone who's played a bit of both I prefer dota 2. Anyway, Steam has given me a free copy of the game to gift to someone, so anyone who is interested is welcome to it. The game will eventually be free but right now it's necessary to pay, unless someone gives you a steam gift of the game.
  12. I found out about jailbreak about 6 months ago from a friend. It sounded pretty cool, so I gave it a try. Have loved it ever since. My friend told me in detail all about how you can't kill anyone unfairly as a ct, so terror of messing up forced me to play t for a while. I'm still in that while.
  13. Yeah the old ones were as hard as hell to get into. The latest is much more user friendly though, so hopefully more new people will be drawn to the series.
  14. Player Name: Raging Cow Date of Birth: 23/09/1995 Age: 17 Country/Location: England SteamID: STEAM_0:0:25058145 Games Played: TF2, CSS, Dota 2, Minecraft Roughly how long have you been playing our server(s)? Probably about 3-4 months on and off. What qualities can you bring to Outbreak?: I'm pretty relaxed and mature in game, and I hope to be fairly active. Tell us a little something about yourself: Probably most of the things I would like to say here are in my "Introduce Yourself" post, but I'll add a bit more. I have a phobia of playing on CT, power scares me. Because of this I've never actually played on CT, ever, on OB. I prefer the rebelling :D
  15. I played UFO: Enemy Unknown for years when I was younger, just wondering if anyone else was the same and so is getting the new one? I can't wait for the multiplayer on the new one. It's gonna be sexy, but right now I know no one who is actually getting it.
