Hello and welcome to the Modern Castle MEGA THREAD.

I will be updating the thread as I update the map bringing to you the latest updates in a changelog at the bottom of the main post.

You may be wondering, what is this crazed person talking about?!one11one?

Modern Castle is a map that I've been working on for the past two years. I've stopped production on it for a year (I counted that year in the time worked on it part) and I am now "revamping" it.

I started off by working with an old friend, that friend has disappeard since a year and a half ago.

I've decided to re-start working on it as the map has a lot of hidden potential.

It's called Modern Castle because it introduces electricity to an old era.

I'm open for any suggestions, good or bad. It's all merely a contribution to the mapping business.

This map currently includes a:

Cells 100%

Armoury 50%

Climb 95%

Lava Obstacle Course 98%

Massive Outdoor Bit - Requesting some ideas. (Nothing out of the ordinary pee ell ess)

A Moat (Water surrounding the castle) - Will have a shark costume for the CT's to wear

Awaiting Ideas to implement them in.

Currenly working on new improved towers.

Wow, i was making a map just like this a while back.

If i still had it i'd give it you since it's incomplete, but i think it was destroyed when Hatchgunner fried my PC.

Looks really good. As for the outside bit a football is always nice. But it is up to you as it is your map, good luck!

Looks good, reminds me of the one with 4-5 floors of cells in a main building, and an armoury in a separate room.

Interested to see what you do on the inside (underground activities?)

Thanks for all the great comments and supports, I really appreciate it. I've updated the thread by including a preview of the map and a couple of pictures of the cells. I'll be adding pictures as I go on.

Again, any suggestions will be a plus as it gives me an incentive and a great idea on what to base it off.

Seen it before when you were talking about it in TS, looks great as ever. You managed to figure out the corrupting file problem?

As for outside, something like Tic Tac Toe is pretty good. Also skipping rope, football field, basketball, race, trivia. (just some suggestions.)

You should definitely build a catapult to launch T's towards a little swimming pool. Srsly. :D

Tic tac tot is only really decoration, never see commanders playing these days.

It does look sweet thigh, good work! We could use a castle like structure in our maps!
